Kangana REACTS To 'Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder', 'Scared Of Parents.. Can Plan Cold Blooded Murder..'

The entire nation is in shock after the buzz about the Indore-based businessman, Raja Raghuvanshi, being brutally killed during his honeymoon trip to Meghalaya, reportedly by his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi. The case turned mysterious after the couple disappeared within a few days of their honeymoon trip. Later, Raja's decomposed body was found in a gorge, while Sonam was nowhere to be seen. However, on June 9, 2025, she was found in Ghaziabad, and police arrested her. Now, Kangana Ranaut reacted to the horrendous killing of a man by his own wife. 

Kangana Ranaut reacted to the shocking Meghalaya honeymoon murder

Kangana Ranaut, who is known as a prolific actress and has also been serving the nation as a BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, reacted to the heinous murder during Raja's honeymoon trip to Meghalaya by his wife, Sonam. Kangana called the incident absurd and highlighted how women don't have the guts to say no to a marriage and are scared of their parents, but the same woman can plan a cold-blooded murder. She wrote:

"How absurd is this!! Woman can’t say no to marriage because she is scared of her own parents but she can plan a cold blooded murder with supari killers this has been on my mind since morning but not able to wrap my head around it !!! Uuffff getting a headache now!!"

Kangana further stated that the woman couldn't even divorce her husband and run away with her lover. She called the act cruel, heinous, and the woman dumb. She added that dumb people are the ones, who shouldn't be taken lightly. She shared:

"She couldn’t even divorce or run away with her lover. How cruel, heinous and above all absurd and dumb. Dumb people should never be taken lightly they are the biggest threat to any society… we often laugh at them and think they are harmless but it’s not true, intelligent people may damage others for their own good but remember a dumb person has no idea what they are doing !!! Be aware very aware of dumbness around you."

More about the Meghalaya murder case

The post-wedding celebration at Raja's home turned into tears and howls after the couple went missing in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills on May 23, 2025. They were on their honeymoon, later, a man's body was recovered from a gorge on June 2, 2025. However, his wife wasn't found then. The reports claim that the couple was last seen by the tourist guide in Mawlakhiat. They were accompanied with three men at around 10 a.m. They were heading towards a 3,000-step route to Nogriat, which is a tourist spot. The guide offered to take them, but they refused and hired another guide on the same day, they went missing.

According to Meghalaya, police sources shared shocking details about Raja Raghuvanshi. Sonam is the prime suspect in the case. Raja's decomposed body was discovered in a gorge, while Sonam was found alive in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur. According the police sources in Shillong, Sonam planned her husband, Raja's murder with her beau, Raj Khushwaha. They decided to hire contract killers to execute their plan.
