'A Woman Is Not Equal To Man', Kangana Says Concept Of Equality Has Given A 'Generation Of Idiots'

Kangana Ranaut as an actress has established her name in the industry through her work and also for her reputation of never mincing her words. After sharing her commentary and opinion on contemporary issues, the actress also donned the hat of a politician and is now a Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. However, when discussing her understanding of social issues in the country as a politician, Kangana made a case against believing in equality. She said that it has produced a 'generation of idiots'.

Kangana Ranaut says believing in equality has produced a 'generation of morons'

Kangana Ranaut, in an interview with Times Now, talked about the concept of equality and made points against it. The actress is of the opinion that since the world started believing in everyone being equal, it has only produced a 'generation of morons'. The actress justified her statement and gestured at the interviewer, saying that the latter has more experience in the field of reporting. Kangana then further said that the interviewer, however, is not equal to her when it comes to art. The actress further said that she is not equal to her mother. As per Kangana, everyone is different and 'we can learn from everybody'. The actress was quoted as saying:

“You are making me talk about controversial things, but I think, since the world has started to believe that we are all equal, we have only produced a generation of morons. You have so much more experience than me in this field. You are not equal to me when it comes to art. I am not equal to my mother. I am not equal to Ambani ji. He is not equal to me because I have four National Awards. Everybody is different. And we can learn from everybody.”

Kangana explained further and said that believing in equality has given a 'generation of morons' who believe that they are 'born perfect and know everything'. As a result, the actress stated that these people don't respect their bosses who have 25 years more experience than they do. This leads to a 'generation of idiots' who are not interested in promotions because they don't want more work, explained Kangana. In the interview, the actress stated:

“When I sit next to a labourer, I think this person has so much more tolerance than me. I am not equal to that person. A child is not equal to the woman, a woman is not equal to the man. A man is not equal to the elderly person in the family. We all have different roles and we are all different".
