'Sasural Simar Ka' Fame, Kajol Srivastava Pregnant Shares Pregnancy Journey Video

Popular TV actress, Kajol Srivastava is best remembered for her role in the serial, Sasural Simar Ka. She is at the moment in the happiest stage of her life as she is all set to embrace motherhood. Kajol and her husband, Ankit Khare are expecting their first baby after six years of marital bliss. Kajol lately took to her social media handle to make the announcement of the same with a cute video where she showcased her pregnancy journey.

Kajol Srivastava chronicles her pregnancy journey and makes the cutest announcement

A while back, Kajol took to her Instagram handle to give a view of her nine-month-long pregnancy journey. In the video, she was first seen sitting on a boat, and it was revealed that she did not know that she was pregnant there. It was in the second month that she came to know about her pregnancy. There was another video where Kajol spoke about how their trip to the Maldives made her and Ankit later realise their pregnancy. She symbolised how god's plans was beautiful. Kajol while making the pregnancy announcement, captioned the video as:

"Our miracle in process."

When Kajol Srivastava got engaged at the age of 24 and married at 25

Kajol and Ankit are starting a new chapter of their lives very soon. The actress is also known for her work in Karmphal Daata Shani. She got engaged when she was 24. Her husband, Ankit, is an IT engineer. Their engagement ceremony was private and took place in front of their closest family members and friends. The couple got engaged in Banda and kept a selective guest list, as most of her industry friends from Mumbai could not make it. Her closest school and college friends and her cousin from Lucknow had come for the engagement. 

During an earlier interview with The Times of India, the actress was asked about her reason for getting married early. Kajol shared that there was no particular age to get married and revealed:

"There isn’t any age to get married, if you ask me. And why should one get married around 30 only? These days it is really difficult to find a suitable match, so when one finds one, he/she should just go for it, just like I did. Ankit is actually my real sister’s devar and initially I wasn’t even thinking about getting married to him. In fact, it was Ankit’s mother, who, when saw me, proposed this idea, to which I was hesitant to accept initially."

Kajol Srivastava was told to think about her decision of marriage

Kajol's parents were liberal enough to let her decide if she wanted to get married to Ankit. It was during their talking stage that she understood that he was a good man, and it was in 2019 that they tied the knot. Ankit had told Kajol that even though he was staying in the US, she could continue with her work after her marriage, and he planned things out accordingly. Kajol added:

"Isn’t it sweet? Also, ever since we have started to know each other, whenever there is an article on me on the internet, Ankit is the first one to send it to me, even before my PR team. He is really caring and loving. Also, my dad wanted me to get married now because I didn’t have any serials in hand. He knows that the moment I sign a show, I get so busy that I have time for nothing."
