Kajol Reveals Her Feelings About The Times Nysa Steps Out For Parties, '..Uncomfortable Situations'

Kajol, one of the most famous actresses, never misses a chance to win the hearts with her acting skills. In her personal life, she is married to Ajay Devgn, and they are parents to two adorable kids, Nysa and Yug. Nysa, although didn't step into the acting world, she often used to grab attention with her public appearances. Not once, but she often got trolled during the same. However, since last year, Nysa's pubic appearances have become limited, and she has also chosen to go private with her social media platforms. Recently, Kajol sat for an interview and talked about her daughter.

Kajol recently sat for an interview with Zoom, wherein she was asked about her daughter, Nysa. Talking about the same, the actress praised her daughter for the way she navigates the social media trolling with grace and dignity. In the same interview, Kajol said that her daughter is really smart and has common sense. Kajol said that she is grateful to have her daughter in her life, and mentioned how they, together, solve every problem. Kajol called Nysa snarky and wonderful. Kajol further added that she and her daughter have different perspectives about life and the world, and Nysa's point of view amazes her often. Kajol can be quoted as saying:

"Some of the time, yes, that common sense flies out the window. But I’m able to get through to her, and we figure out situations together. I’m very grateful to have her in my life. She’s wonderful, snarky, has a great sense of humour, and a very different perspective on life and the world compared to me. It always amazes me - she often takes me aback with her thoughts.”

Kajol says her daughter, Nysa is fierce and reveals how she is enthusiastic about women's rights

In the same interview, Kajol mentioned that her daughter, Nysa thinks like the people from today's world, and when it comes to women's rights, the actress' daughter thinks as if she was born into it. Nysa believes that women's rights should be given and not something that they would need to fight for. Kajol said that her daughter is fierce, something that every girl, at some point, wants to be. She further praised the girls from today's times and also revealed how it sometimes makes her feel old-fashioned. In Kajol's words:

"She thinks like someone from today’s world. When it comes to women’s rights, she acts like she was born into them—like it’s a given, not something that had to be fought for. It’s just a natural part of her life. She’s fierce, and that’s something we all aspire to be. There’s this amazing quality that today’s girls have: they expect to be treated well, with dignity and good manners, and they call it out when it doesn’t happen. It’s something that really teaches me new things every time. It even makes me feel a bit old-fashioned sometimes."

Kajol shares her feelings about Nysa stepping out for parties

In the same interview, Kajol shared her feelings about Nysa's public appearances and her stepping out for parties. She mentioned that she is proud of her daughter, and the way, she carries herself with dignity and grace. The actress added that it is often a test of a true character when someone faces an uncomfortable situation and reacts the way his/her instinct will lead them to. Stating that she's proud of her upbringing and her daughter, Kajol said:

“I’m very, very proud of her, and I’ve said this in a lot of interviews. The way she carries herself with so much dignity and grace is truly commendable. It’s always a test of character when you’re faced with uncomfortable situations, and how you react in those moments reveals your true mettle. I’m very proud of my upbringing and even more proud of my daughter.”

Will Nysa ever join Bollywood?

Time and again, Ajay and Kajol have been questioned whether their daughter would join Bollywood. But both of them have clarified that their daughter had no interest in being in the acting world, and in the future, whatever she decided, she could take that particular career path. Well, Kajol once said that her daughter has picked up an interest in cooking, especially in baking, as she bakes amazing brownies.
