Kajol Says She's Happy When Ajay Devgn Leaves For 40-Day Outdoor Shoot, Has No Complaints From Him

Ajay Devgn and Kajol are among the most endearing couples, not just due to their individual success but also their refreshingly real relationship. While the actress is known for her outspoken and vibrant nature, Ajay is more of a quiet and serious nature. But despite their contrasting personalities, the couple has maintained a loving, respectful and mature relationship for 26 years now. Unlike the glamorous image associated with celeb couples, their bond reflects normalcy, and we got to see the same when in a recent interview, Kajol reflected on her bond with Ajay Devgn. 

Kajol reveals she has contrasting feelings when Ajay Devgn leaves for a long outdoor shoot 

Kajol is on a promotional spree for her upcoming film, Maa in the same bid, she sat down for an interview with Instant Bollywood. Since both she and her husband, Ajay Devgn, have established themselves as successful actors, Kajol was asked how she feels when Ajay Devgn has to leave for a long outdoor shoot. In turn, she revealed that it's a mixed feeling because sometimes she is relieved that he has gone out for a long time like any honest wife. However, on other occasions, she misses his presence a lot. In her words:

"Both are good and bad. Kabhi Kabhi aisa lagta hai ki aacha hua 40 din ka outdoor hai aur kabhi kabhi lagta hai he should have been at home for somethings.”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn have not only had a successful marriage, but also continue to thrive in their careers. Talking about the same, the Fanaa actress explained that over the years they have established a rhythm which works for them. They understand each other's priorities without saying a word, like she knows how her husband is passionate about films and it's the reason for his success. When Kajol was asked if she had any complaints from her husband, she revealed that they did have complaints with each other, but they have worked over it. Sharing her honest feelings, Kajol said:

"I don't have any complaints. Whatever complaints I had, we have resolved them, and they are way in the past."

Kajol shares her kids want her to take up comedy films like her husband, Ajay Devgn 

Kajol and Ajay Devgn are blessed with two kids: a daughter, Nysa, born in 2003 and a son, Yug, born in 2010. In the same conversation, Kajol revealed that her kids don't like her emotional films because they can't watch her cry. Instead, they advise her to work in comedy films like their father, Ajay Devgn's Golmaal franchise. Kajol said:

"They want me to do films that only make them laugh, and nobody is crying, no glycerine is used, and nothing happens to me. I wonder what is this film where nothing happens to me, and I have to do nothing. Why am I in this film?"

Ajay Devgn and Kajol's love story 

Ajay Devgn and Kajol first came across each other on the set of their film, Hulchul, in 1995, where they were surprised by each other's contrasting personalities. As per India Today, Kajol was dating someone else, and so was Ajay, but they gradually became friends, which deepened into love. After dating for four years, they decided to get married and there was no formal proposal. Kajol's father and mother felt she was marrying early, but she went ahead with the decision, and they tied the knot in a private ceremony in 1999.
