Karan Johar's 2001-directed film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham still rules over the hearts of millions. Everything about this film is magical, from the larger-than-life set and star cast, to the emotional storyline. Even after 22 years after its release, the film still holds the same place in the hearts of movie lovers. However, it was the cast of the film that made it even more special. For the unversed, the film featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. But, there was a special guest appearance of one of the most popular star kids of the current generation, and it is none other than SRK's son, Aryan Khan. Now, as the film has completed 22 years, Kajol has recalled his cameo and shared some lesser-known anecdotes from the shooting.
On December 14, 2023, Kajol took to her Instagram handle and celebrated 22 years of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The actress dropped an adorable video collage featuring throwback stills from the film. Sharing the video, Kajol recalled some lesser-known anecdotes from the shooting of the film. The actress recalled how Karan Johar's father, Yash Johar had made a new makeup room for the star cast. Adding that Karan fainted on the sets during the first few days of the shooting, Kajol penned:
"22 years of #k3g.. Another acronym but yes another long lasting memory !!!! Yash uncle actually renovated and made new makeup rooms in Filmistan studios permanently just for the shooting of this film because even with the vanity vans it was not going to be enough for this gigantic starrer.! @karanjohar collapsed and fainted on set because of dehydration in the first few days .. it was really really hot!

Further, in her note, Kajol recalled her co-star, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's on-screen debut. For those who chip in late, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham marked the debut of Aryan as he played a cameo role in the film. The star kid played his father, SRK's younger version, in the film. Further, Kajol also called K3G her first comebacks after years of gap and wrote:
"And this was @___aryan___'s debut on screen..! It was also I think my first comeback (not sure about this part tho) too many comebacks ago) And the first and only time I stood in front of the pyramids and truly felt them with my soul.. so yes this was a truly HUGE film in every which way, in life and cinema !"

Well, not just Kajol, but Karan Johar also penned a note as K3G completed 22 years. Taking to his Ig handle, the director dropped a reel, featuring some priceless clips from the film. Along with it, he penned a note and expressed his gratitude to the star cast and crew members for making the film memorable. In his words:

For those who don't know, SRK's son, Aryan Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut as a director with a series, Stardom. As per multiple media reports, the series will be a Tinseltown comedy, which is inspired by real-life events in the film industry. Moreover, the series will show the day-to-day challenges that an actor faces. It will focus on the artistic and emotional challenges that the actors go through.
