Kajal Aggarwal Shuts Down Death Hoax Rumours Of Passing Away In A Road Accident, 'Focus On..'

Kajal Aggarwal is one of the South Indian actresses who has also established a foothold in the Bollywood industry. She has a phenomenal social media following, but there have been recent reports doing the rounds that the actress passed away in a road accident, after succumbing to major injuries. The rumours spread like wildfire, and Kajal had to put an end to the news related to her death hoax. The actress took to her Instagram to share that she was very much alive.

Kajal Aggarwal clarifies that she is alive and did not die in any fake road accident

According to an ETimes report, condolences started to pour in for Kajal after false news related to her demise in a road accident circulated on social media. Reportedly, some pictures and posts went on social media alleging that Kajal had passed away. Now, the actress, a while back, took to her social media handle to reveal that the rumours were baseless, fake and that she was alive. In her words:

"I have come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident and no long around. And honestly it's quite amusing as it is untrue. By the grace of God I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe and doing very well. I kindly request you not to believe or spread such false news. Let's keep our focus on positivity and truth instead."

Fact check on Kajal Aggarwal's passing away in a road accident

Reportedly, a video went out on social media that alleged that Kajal Aggarwal's body was being carried as she passed away in a road accident. There was a lot of murmur in India as well as Sri Lanka that the actress had passed away. She has a solid fan base in both countries. However, there was no proof of the actress's passing away in the accident, as no official statement from the actress's team was made. The credibility of the social media post was something which was questionable.

There was no official announcement made by either her husband or Kajal's friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry. Some social media posts revealed that her funeral was being attended, and the clips and videos did not reportedly show her face. Allegedly, Kajal's body was being carried, and her face in the reported clip was not even shown. Reportedly, her body was being carried in a coffin by some foreigners, and the Indian tradition of funeral rites was also not observed. Now, the fake video actually was from 2023.

Kajal made her Bollywood debut with the movie, Kyun! Ho Gaya Na back in 2004. She was then featured in a variety of Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Her best work was seen in Thuppakki, Comali, Hey Sinamika, Temper and Baghavanth Kesari. The actress on the big screen was last seen in Kannappa, where she had a special appearance in the devotional movie. The actress is also a part of The Indian Story Indian 3, along with Ramayana. In her personal life, Kajal got married to her longtime friend and businessman Gautam Kitchlu in October 2020. The pair together has a son called, Neil. Kajal does share family snaps with them on her social media handle and juggles between her professional and personal commitments
