Jack Schlossberg is not mincing his words when it comes to sharing his views on Julia Fox's 2025 Halloween costume. He called her out for 'glorifying political violence'. But what was the actress wearing that led to such heated criticism? Let us tell you what happened.
Julia Fox shared her costume with her fans on social media on October 30, 2025 (ET). The actress donned a pink suit with fake blood stains. The outfit was meant to resemble the former first lady, Jackie Kennedy, shortly after the assassination of her husband. Soon after the actress shared the pictures online, they went viral, creating waves online.

Now, Jack Schlossberg has expressed his disapproval of Julia Fox's costume. The American writer didn't hold back on his thoughts on the get-up, slamming it on his social media on October 31, 2025 (ET). He called Julia's costume 'disgusting, desperate and dangerous', adding how he feels like her late-grandmother would also agree. He was quoted as saying:
"Julia Fox glorifying political violence is disgusting, desperate and dangerous. I’m sure her late grandmother would agree."

Following the backlash to the costume online, Julia Fox responded with an Instagram post in which she insisted the look was not a costume but 'a statement'. She shared that when Jackie Kennedy's husband was assassinated, she refused to change her clothes because she wanted them to see what happened. She was quoted as saying:
"When her husband was assassinated, she refused to change out of her blood-stained clothes, saying, 'I want them to see what they’ve done.' The image of the delicate pink suit splattered with blood is one of the most haunting juxtapositions in modern history. Beauty and horror. Poise and devastation."

In the same post, Julia Fox added that Jackie Kennedy's decision not to change out of her blood-stained clothes was an 'act of extraordinary bravery'. She shared that the look was not just about a look; it acknowledged the trauma and power Jackie demonstrated. The Uncut Gems star ended her post by writing:

"Her decision not to change clothes, even after being encouraged to, was an act of extraordinary bravery. It was performance, protest, and mourning all at once. A woman weaponising image and grace to expose brutality. It’s about trauma, power, and how femininity itself is a form of resistance. Long live Jackie O"
Julia Fox's look is a reflection of the infamous double-breasted wool suit Jackie Kennedy was wearing on November 22, 1963, when her husband, John F. Kennedy, was shot and killed while they were both riding in a motorcade in Dallas. As Julia shared in her post, Jackie had refused to take off her bloody dress, even though another dress had already been picked out. She was even photographed after her husband's death wearing it while standing next to Lyndon B. Johnson, who succeeded JFK as president.
