Juhi Chawla is known for her beauty and good looks. The gorgeous actress always got compared to her contemporaries, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor and many more. In fact, in the 1990s, their rivalry was well-known, and many took advantage of it. Recently, the director, Dharmesh Darshan, revealed that Juhi Chawla refused to do his super hit film, Raja Hindustani, for a big reason.
Recently, in an interview with Lehren Retro, the director, Dharmesh Darshan, shared an anecdote with Juhi Chawla. He revealed that she was the first choice for Raja Hindustan, but she played hard to get. When he told her about the film, she said that it was just a normal film. To this, the director cited the example of then- then-released superhit film, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, in which Madhuri Dixit's character stood out. To this, Juhi instantly said:
"But you’re not Sooraj Barjatya."
