The event was part of the promotional Doom Tour for the popular series, Wednesday Season 2. According to Billboard, on August 28, 2025, the pop icon hit the stage with Wednesday co-stars, Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, and Joy Sunday.

Lady Gaga announced that her brand new single, The Dead Dance, will be released on September 3, 2025. She also revealed that the latest single is part of Wednesday Season 2.
