Jemimah Rodrigues' Brand Value Soars By 100 Percent After ICC Women's World Cup Win, Know Her Fee

The Indian women's cricket team won its first-ever ICC Women's World Cup by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the 2025 final. This historic victory took place on home soil at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. After runner-up finishes in the 2005 and 2017 World Cup finals, the 2025 maiden title win was an emotional affair for all Indians. The team, led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, overcame a tournament run that included three consecutive defeats during the group stage, making for a historic comeback. Following the milestone achievement, the girls have reported enjoying a hike in brand value and sponsorship deals, with Jemimah being a notable figure in this regard.

Jemimah Rodrigues' brand value saw the highest percentage increase among the Indian women's cricketers

According to The Economic Times, Jemimah Rodrigues has seen the highest increase in brand value among Indian women's cricketers, with her endorsement fees soaring by up to 100%. This surge followed her match-winning performance in the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 semifinals and her crucial contribution to her team's maiden final victory. Jemimah's one of her career-best performances included her semifinal bashing of Australia. The Mangalorean remained undefeated at 127, which took the victory home. It was a decisive moment for several major brands, which led them to bring her on board.

Following Jemimah Rodrigues' stellar knock, her brand endorsement fees have reportedly increased by up to 100 percent. Previously, experts predicted a doubling of her endorsement value, and now her manager has made a similar comment. According to Karan Yadav, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW Sports, which manages Jemimah, she now commands between Rs. 75 lakh and Rs. 1.5 crore per brand deal. Her endorsements, which already include brands such as BoAt, Hyundai, Red Bull, Gillette, and Dream11, are now expanding into new categories, including lifestyle, wellness, and finance. Regarding Jemimah's multiple endorsement requests, Karan Yadav said:

"We've been flooded with requests almost immediately after the match against Australia was completed. We're in conversation with brands across 10-12 categories."

Besides Jemimah's cricket skills, her multifaceted side, including interests in dancing, singing, and playing guitar, as well as her willingness to speak about anxiety and mental health, has made her more relatable to audiences, adding to her appeal to brands. Her current net worth is approximately Rs. 8-15 crore (approximately USD 1–2 million), according to SportsDunia. Jemimah's performance in the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup has also led to a significant spike in media interest and social media engagement for her and the team's other star players.

Who is the highest-paid female cricketer in India right now?

The highest-paid female cricketer in India right now is Smriti Mandhana, primarily due to her lucrative Women's Premier League (WPL) contract and numerous brand endorsements. While several players, including Smriti, Indian captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Deepti Sharma, share the top bracket of the BCCI's annual central contract system (Grade A, Rs. 50 lakh per year), the former's WPL salary sets her apart. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) signed her for a record Rs. 3.4 crore in the inaugural WPL auction, making her the highest-paid player in the league's history. This amount is significantly higher than other players' WPL earnings.
