Janhvi Kapoor has been serving ravishing looks, and her streak remains unbroken as, once again, she channelled her inner Sridevi. The actress made her Cannes Film Festival debut with a homage to her late mother, Sridevi, and now she has brought back another iconic look which pays tribute to the Mr India actress.
We thought that Janhvi Kapoor was done serving us one fashion moment after the other, but not yet! The actress has returned with another one of Sridevi's iconic looks. Remember the song, Kaate Nahi Kat Te? Well, Janhvi seems to have taken inspiration from her mother's song for her next look, and she has most definitely nailed it.
Diet Sabya recently shared a video on their Instagram handle, which shows Janhvi Kapoor walking alongside the beach in a white-coloured saree. However, it was not just any normal saree, it was a fusion-saree by Di Petsa, who are well known for their wet drapery. The actress' fusion dress looked enchanting, as the flowy fabric hugged her in all the right places, and the dripping wet effect added stars to the entire look.
Paired with an off-shoulder top, the thin fabric glided down Jhanvi's stunning body like butter. The actress' personality and the sway added to the entire femme fatale aura of the look. Styled by her cousin, Rhea Kapoor, Janhvi most definitely looked like a dream in the video, and we can't wait to see what she has in store next.
Janhvi Kapoor paired the gorgeous saree with a purple choker and an emerald and diamond centrepiece. She matched the necklace with emerald and diamond earrings. The jewels are by Chopard, who is also the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival. As for her glam, the actress kept her base flawless and dewy and added a soft eyeshadow, radiant blush, sculpted cheeks and a nude lip shade to complete her look.

The stunning wet-look saree by Di Petsa also comes with a big price tag. The saree retails at Rs. 4,10,500 and is made to order. According to the website, the saree is a landmark recreation of couture craftsmanship, meticulously hand-draping and hand-sewing. The brand is based in Atelier in Greece and is extremely well-known for its wet looks. This was the first saree designed using the brand's famous wetlook technique, which pays homage to the blend of South Asian elegance and tradition with Di Petsa's signature fluidity and emotive sensuality. However, that is not all, the brand uses recycled mesh fabric for the draping of their garment, sending a deeper message about sustainability to their customers.
Janhvi Kapoor made her big debut at the Cannes Film Festival and paid her homage to her late mother, Sridevi, with her attire. It was on May 20, 2025, when the actress graced the red carpet in a rose-coloured draped lehenga-saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani. The outfit came with a veil that covered her low bun. She added pearl jewellery to finish the look. Apart from that, Janhvi has given us mermaid-core with her mint backless gown and vintage glam with her 1957 Dior dress. For the unversed, Janhvi is attending the event as part of the Homebound team, which also includes Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, director, Neeraj Ghaywan, and producer, Karan Johar.
