Habiba belongs to a South Asian Shia Muslim family and her mother tongue is Urdu. The same report by Bollywood Biography also mentions that Habiba is the foundation director of Indian Documentary Foundation. Talking about her Instagram profile, Habiba reportedly has a public profile, with only one post. She has around 806 followers on her Instagram handle.

While there is not much information available about Habiba and Jaaved's love story or how they met each other, reports claim that the two got married to each other in 1991, a few years after Jaaved's first marriage with Zeba Bakhtiar ended. Since then, Jaaved and Habiba have maintained a beautiful and stable relationship. 

Over the years, Habiba has been Jaaved Jaaferi's strongest pillar. She has been beside him through all his ups and downs. Even though Jaaved eventually rose to nationwide fame, Habiba decided to keep her life away from the public eye. The couple has three children- sons, Meezaan Jafri and Abbas Jaaferi and a daughter, Alaviaa Jaaferi.

In March 2024, Habiba Jafri made a rare appearance with her husband, Jaaved Jaaferi. The two posed for the paps during the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. For those who do not know, Anant and Radhika's wedding was one of the most talked-about social events of the year. It was attended by almost all superstars. 

In the clip that went viral of Jaaved and Habiba, the actor was dressed in an off-white t-shirt with denims. He completed the look with a cap. On the other hand, his wife, Habiba chose an oversized black t-shirt over a white top and black pants. She had tied her hair into a messy bun. She was seen eating a sweet in the entire clip. 

Where are Jaaved Jaaferi and Habiba’s children?

Jaaved and Habiba are parents to three children, Meezaan Jafri, Alaviaa Jaffrey and Abbas Jaffrey. Well, their eldest son, Meezan is an actor in Bollywood. He made his debut with Malaal and later appeared in Hungama 2, Yaariyan 2 and more. However, he rose to fame with De De Pyaar De 2. The second child, Alaviaa Jaffrey is reportedly an entrepreneur and influencer.

According to the Times of India, Alaviaa is a fashion entrepreneur and has co-founded a retail venture. She even appeared in the reality series, The Tribe, along with her father. Lastly, Jaaved and Habiba's youngest child, Abbas Jaffrey leads a private life, unlike his siblings. While he is seen with his family at times, details about him and his career have been kept private by the family.

Around November 30, 2025, when Jaaved Jaaferi and his son, Meezan were promoting their film, De De Pyaar De 2, the two sat down for a candid conversation with The Curly Tales. In the same, Curly Tales had given the viewers a tour of their house. After the house tour, while the three were having food, Meezan was asked about who had scolded him the most in his childhood. To which the actor had shared that his father used to scold him, but his mother used to beat him at times. Later, Jaaved agreed and shared that he has never raised his hand on his children.
