Isla Fisher drops a cryptic post on marriage days after announcing that her divorce from Sacha Baron has been finalised

In her personal life, Isla Fisher got married to Sacha Baron Cohen. The couple got married in 2010, after they started dating in 2001. The couple has three children. However, it was in 2024 when they announced their decision to part ways as husband and wife. The divorce seemed to be an amicable one, and it was only a month ago when, through a statement, the couple announced that their divorce proceedings had come to an end, and they would now collaborate on co-parenting their children.

However, Isla's recent cryptic post on her IG stories grabbed the attention, which was seemingly a dig at marriages. The post was about women being against marriage, and the follow-up lines were quite tongue-in-cheek of a kind. Isla's cryptic post reads:

"Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?' Here's an update for you. Nowadays, 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage."

It was in April 2024, when taking to their IG handles, Isla and Sacha announced their separation. They dropped photos of them being dressed in tennis outfits. Sharing the glimpse, the couple mentioned that after 20 years of a long match, they are putting their racquets down, which meant that they had decided to part ways. It was in June 2025 when their divorce was finalised.

However, the split seemed to have been cordial, as they were seen interacting on social media. The ex-couple recently sparked gossip with their separate appearance at Wimbledon. Sharing the screenshot of an article about the same on her IG stories, Isla poked fun and questioned her ex-husband, while they were away, who was looking after their kids.

In an interview with The Times in February 2025, Isla Fisher also talked about her relationship with Sacha Baron Cohen. She shared that it has been the most difficult phase of her life. Isla further mentioned that she had never thought that she would be separated, but she has learnt a lot about herself in the process and moving forward. Having said that, Isla further mentioned that she and Sacha are loving and committed parents, and their kids are the most important people in their lives. Isla, on Father's Day, tagged Sacha as the 'best dad' as well, and the way they have been co-parenting their kids is worth every praise.
