Isha Ambani takes over the limelight wherever she goes, and the Met Gala, also known as the 'Oscars Of Fashion', is no different. The diva, who has regularly graced the Met Gala red carpet for several years now, proved with her look that she is here to make a statement. Highlighting the superwoman that she is as a mother, wife, and influential entrepreneur, Isha's look reflected a mix of grace and power, and we can't stop talking about it. Let's take a closer look at Isha Ambani's Met Gala 2025 appearance.
Isha Ambani isn't new to the Met Gala red carpet and knows how to ace the theme at the event every year. This year is no different to her as she gave her unique take to the Met Gala 2025 theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' which highlights black fashion, innovation and tailoring in fashion. Isha Ambani wore a mesmerising white overcoat with a sculpted corset-style bustier and matching black trousers by designer, Anamika Khanna. She rounded it off with subtle lip stick, defined eye-makeup and hair tied a pony tail.
The overcoat with a heavy train featured intricate embroidery with gold, ruby and emerald detailing, which showcased Indian craftsmanship to the world. Her bustier was laced with intricate cutwork and pearl embellishments which was a significant nod to royal Indian jewels. Reflecting her family values, the entrepreneur's outfit is a blend of tradition and modernity.
Ambani bahus and daughter never go wrong with their jewellery, and Isha proved that in her statement layered pearl and diamond necklace. The necklace stirred up a significant memory from India's royalty as it's the legendary Toussaint necklace, which was inspired by a necklace of Raja Ranjitsinhji Vibhaji Jadeja of Nawanagar. For those unaware, the first-class cricket's Ranji Trophy in India is named after him. Cartier reimagined this significant piece of Indian history for the Hollywood film, Ocean's 8.
The original was described as 'the finest cascade of coloured diamonds in the world' because it featured multiple gemstones of different colours. The highlight of the necklace was its Queen of Holland diamond, weighing a huge 136.25 carats. Although the original one commissioned by the king was lost in history after he was exiled, Cartier recreated it. They hosted an exhibition at their New York mansion, where the necklace was a centrepiece. It is named as Toussaint necklace as an ode to their creative director, Toussaint who was quite fond of Indian jewellery.
