Indian actress, Priyanka Mohan is currently hogging the limelight for her upcoming film, Made in Korea. The upcoming Tamil romantic drama stars Priyanka in the lead role. According to the latest reports, Made in Korea is scheduled to release on March 12, 2026, on the OTT giant, Netflix. Amid the buzz surrounding the film, people have grown curious to know more about the female lead’s personal life. It is worth mentioning that Priyanka prefers to keep her personal life private.
According to the latest reports, Made in Korea’s female lead, Priyanka Mohan, is unmarried. However, in 2024, a snap featuring Priyanka and Jayam Ravi a.k.a Ravi Mohan went viral. In the viral photo, the duo was seen tying the knot. Speaking to the media, Priyanka at the time dismissed the rumours. She shared that they had worked together in the Tamil comedy film, Brother. She also expressed disappointment over the makers for releasing the picture without proper context. In 2024 India Herald report claimed Priyanka was in a relationship with a London-based entrepreneur. She was quoted as saying:
"Jayam Ravi and I worked together in Brother, and the photo that was released was just a still from the film. The makers released it, and some people from the industry congratulated me, thinking it was my engagement photo. It was just a film still, and I wish the team hadn't released it without clarifying its context."

Priyanka Mohan will play the role of 'Shenba', a young woman who hails from a small town in Tamil Nadu. 'Shenba' dreams of visiting South Korea one day. After saving a good amount of money for the trip, 'Shenba' manages to reach Seoul. However, reality strikes her hard when she gets there. With the help of new friends, 'Shenba' tries to adjust to an unknown world away from home. Made in Korea is a tale of self-discovery and friendship.

During a recent press meet, Priyanka opened up about her role in the film, Made in Korea. She called her journey 'deeply personal'. She shared that the character went through an evolution from vulnerability to independence. She also expressed gratitude to the makers as the film is releasing worldwide. She was quoted as saying:
"Made In Korea and Shenba’s journey is deeply personal to me. It’s about discovering strength in moments of uncertainty and learning to stand on your own. Portraying her evolution from vulnerability to independence was both challenging and deeply rewarding. This being my first collaboration with Netflix makes it even more special, and I’m grateful that Shenba’s story will travel beyond borders and connect with audiences around the world."

According to the Starsunfolded report, Priyanka Mohan was born on November 20, 1995, in Bengaluru. Reportedly, she pursued her primary education in Chennai. Later, she attended Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bengaluru and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Priyanka predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu films. She has also worked in Kannada films. She made her acting debut with the Kannada film, Ondh Kathe Hella. She appeared in many films, including Gang Leader, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Doctor, Don, Etharkkum Thunindhavan and more. She was last seen in the film, They Call Him OG.

In the recent past, Priyanka faced huge criticism for her acting skills. In a recent interview with journalist, Sudhir Srinivasan, Priyanka opened up about online criticism. Social media has been abuzz with memes of Priyanka. She was quoted as saying:
"I would say yes, campaign is a big word. But a lot of things have happened, which I don't want to dwell on the past. But I have understood that it's an uncertain industry, anything can happen to anyone. Obviously, it hurts me, but that fall helped me to rise."
