Insha Ghai Reveals People Expected Her To Dress Like Widow After Husband's Death: 'Widow Ki Tarah..'

Famous Instagram influencer, Insha Ghai rose to stardom on social media platform due to her couple reels. However, her world turned upside down within a day when she heard the news of her husband, Ankit Kalra's death. Insha, who was at her parents' home to celebrate Rakshabandhan, simply had no idea that it would be her last day with her husband, Ankit. In the first-ever interaction, Insha revealed how people treated her post her husband's death.

Insha Ghai revealed how relatives treated her after husband's death

Insha, who is in her late twenties, went through the scariest phase of her life after losing her husband, Ankit. It took her months to come to reality that her partner with whom she tied the knot a few months ago is no more. In a podcast, Talk With Namit, she was asked how people treated her after her husband's death. She shared that she stopped existing for them. 

Insha revealed people wanted her to dress up as a widow

Insha shared that it wasn't easy for her to come to terms with the reality that she was a widow. She revealed that people change once a woman's husband leaves. People stop acknowledging your presence. Further talking about her life as a widow, she revealed that people expected her to dress like a widow. She stated:

"Aaj bhi on ground level agar ap widow ho toh log apse expect karege ki ap widow ki tarah raho. Vo apko suppress krege, vo apko sochege ki they can treat you in whatever way they feel like kyunki iska husband nahi hai. But yeh vo nahi yaad rakhte ki vo ladki ki bhi koi individuality hai that she is also somebody. Just because her husband is not there society ka right aa jata hai ap usko humilate karo. She is also a human."

Insha added that she has faced it a lot. She shared that people should remember that the woman who had lost her husband also has emtion and people should not push her to a level that she questions god and asks him to take her away. 

Insha Ghai shared that her father got a call from her in-laws about Ankit's passing 

Talking about the horrific day, Insha shared that she was enjoying herself with her siblings after celebrating Rakhi. Later in the night, at 8, her father got a call from her in-laws about Ankit's passing. However, no one said anything to Insha as her father was in deep shock. She said:

"My father gets a call at 8 p.m. from my father-in-law that this has happened, 'I have bad news Ankit had passed away.' Nobody told me at that time, when my dad got to know, he took 15-20 minutes to absorb the news, ki apne yeh kya bola hai. Majak hai kya hai. He started the palpataion. Everything tried to calm him down, I was like kuch hua hai kaha pta nahi. But sab mujhe aise dekh rahe hai mujhe smjh aaya call mere in-laws se aaya. Tab I heard the name, 'Ankit', tab I thought kuch bahut galat ho gya, butI was in denial."

Insha revealed that she was rushing her mind about what might had happened. She thought that he might have gotten hurt, he might be serious doctors would be reviving him. When she reached the hospital, she saw her in-laws' cook and asked him what happened. He nodded his head in a no, which she wasn't able to understand. 

Insha revealed that when she went inside the hospital room, she broke down seeing Ankit's dead body lying on the bed. She realised that her life had ended at that moment. However, she is still in denial that something like this has happened. She was quoted as saying:

"Mai ander gayi, all his relatives were there, I saw him lying, that was my breaking point  that was the point I realised ab meri life khatam. Isse jada bura mere sath kya hi ho sakta hai. One person jiske sath ap life sochte ho vo khatam. Yeh accept hi nai kr paayi."

Insha is definitely a strong woman, and we hope she finds her way to happiness again!
