Recently, the admin of an IG page named, Other Words defended Diljit Dosanjh's high-priced tickets for his Indian leg of Dil-Luminati concert. He dropped a video, whose first half featured Saumya Sahni's video, wherein the latter slammed Diljit. Well, as per Other Words' admin, an Indian artist has the full right to charge Rs. 20-25 thousand for a concert. He justified that no haters are buying the tickets, and as the bookings are being made within just a minute or an hour, it can only prove the love people hold for Diljit.
He also shared how people even bought tickets for Rs. 75,000 for a lip-sync star. By this, the content creator seemingly took a dig at Justin Bieber, who reportedly lip-synced during his Mumbai concert, whose tickets were priced at a whopping Rs. 75,000. The content creator said that Diljit is a global star, and he, too, has the right to charge how much he wants to, as he struggled for 25 years to reach a place where he is being recognised globally.
The content creator added that people talk about supporting new stars and are not willing to pay the minimum. He also metaphorically added that no one can ask Gucci or Rolex to sell their stuff cheaply to users. The influencer named her video 'Economy 101', and the clip garnered much attention from the audience.
