Influencer, Brie Bird Passed Away At The Age Of 9, What Was The Reason Of Her Untimely Demise?

Brielle Nicole Bird, famously known as Brie Bird on social media, passed away at the age of 9. Brie died on December 11, 2025, and her mom, Kendra Bird, took to her social media handle and announced the same with a heartbreaking note. Brie had been famous on social media with 1 million followers. The young influencer has been loved by her fandom throughout. The young one's untimely demise sparked a sense of grief around. In the heartbreaking note, Kendra mentioned that her daughter's purpose in life has been fulfilled, and she could do it only at such a young age. Well, the heartbreaking news left Brie's followers in utter heartbreak.

Taking to Brielle Nicole Bird's official IG handle (@briestrongerthancancer), her mom shared that her daughter's purpose is fulfilled as she could make people see that God is good, and the way she brought people closer to the light. Kendra also turned emotional as she shared that she believes that her daughter went straight to Jesus, while adding that they would keep the lights on in her playroom and the doors of her bedroom open, so that she could often visit.

The long note turned beautifully haunting as Brie's mom said that the family members would never stop sharing her story, while looking for her in some special things, like a dragonfly. An excerpt from the emotional note could be read as:

"We will look for you in all the details, especially the dragonfly’s. We will never stop sharing your story. Please come visit us often. Your bedroom door is always open, and we’ll leave the playroom light on. You did it Brielle, you did everything with grace! I can only imagine the incredible reunion, and I’m so jealous; but I know you ran straight to Jesus."

The reason for Brielle Nicole Bird's untimely demise

For the unversed, Brie Bird had been battling with cancer for several years. Brie was diagnosed with a stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2020. During that time, her mom, Kendra, took to her social media handle and shared that an 8-cm tumour was found in Brie's abdomen, in addition to the cancer, which had spread to her back. It was after two years that the family announced that Brie was cancer-free. However, in January 2024, it was announced that Brie's neuroblastoma had returned. During that time, in a post, Kendra heartbreakingly announced that it's the hardest thing in the world to let your own kid know that the cancer returned.

Brie's social media handle holds details of her life and health journey. It was during July 2025, when Brie was in hospice, and in a clip from that time around, she was seen asking her mom if she could skip going to the hospital, due to the pain she was enduring. For the unversed, neuroblastoma cancer is a cancer of immature cells, and it usually affects infants and young children. As per the data available, neuroblastoma typically starts in the adrenal glands, neck, chest, or abdomen, and it's a form of embryonal tumour that grows rapidly and sometimes spreads to other organs.
