'Indian Idol 12' Winner, Pawandeep Rajan Suffers Major Injuries After A Car Accident In Ahmedabad

Pawandeep Rajan left a mark on the heart of the entire country with his soothing voice. The singer won the reality singing show, Indian Idol 12 and has since been making headlines with his phenomenal voice. However, in the early hours of May 5, 2025, he got into a tragic accident while in Ahmedabad. 

Pawandeep Rajan gets injured in an accident

The news broke on May 5, 2025, that Pawandeep Rajan had met with an accident in the wee hours. The singer has allegedly suffered some serious injuries and is currently under the care of doctors at a hospital in Ahmedabad. The Indian Idol 12 winner was travelling by car in the city when, around 3:40 am, the incident happened. He was soon taken to the hospital. 

There have been pictures and videos circulating on the internet which showed Pawandeep Rajan lying unconscious on the hospital bed. His clothes were cut off, and some splatters could still be seen on his half-cut T-shirt. While further details about the accident are still awaited, the video reveals that Pawandeep has sustained injuries to his left foot and right arm.

In the video, Pawandeep can be seen connected to a series of machines, while doctors seem to be assessing his injuries and deciding on the course of action. The singer looked pained even though unconscious. A drip was attached to his free hand while the other was wrapped in the plaster, suggesting that the singer might have some broken bones.

As soon as the video was shared online, well-wishers took to the post and shared their prayers for the singer. A user penned, "I hope he is okay." Another said, "Please, God, give him strength and fast recovery." A commenter said, "Aapki voice me jadu hai sir. He bhagwaan inko jaldi theek karna." While several dropped "Get Well Soon." messages for the singer.

About Pawandeep Rajan

Pawandeep Rajan was born on July 27, 1996, in the Champawat area of Uttarakhand to Saroj Rajan. He has two sisters, Jyotideep and Chandni Rajan. The singer, since a young age, has a keen interest in music and pursued the same as his career. While all are aware of his musical talents, not many know that the singer made his debut in 2015 with the single, Yakeen. The same year he participated in the show, Voice India and won the show. He was awarded a massive cash price of Rs. 50 lakh and a car.

The 27-year-old is the son of the well-known Kumauni folk singer, Suresh Rajan. Over the years, Pawandeep has performed at more than a thousand live shows across 13 countries, including Dubai, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Africa. Pawandeep's talent and charm have won him a massive fan following, and everyone is hoping he makes a speedy recovery.
