Hardik Pandya's Ex-Wife, Natasa Stankovic Shares How FB Helped Her In Acting Journey, 'I Posted..'

Natasa Stankovic may have moved on from their former husband, Hardik Pandya, but her fans are always keen to know what is happening in her day-to-day life. The model from Serbia recently shared how an agency discovered her work in the modelling domain through Facebook. When Natasa came to India, she did not have any contacts apart from the fact that she was determined to succeed and carve a niche for herself.

Natasa Stankovic's Facebook pictures got her into modelling

Natasa had no knowledge of Hindi or English and was unknown and unaware of the Hindi film industry. Her journey in the film industry began when she was spotted by a modelling agency back in Serbia. During an interview with ETimes, she shared how she was in ballet school and was thinking of trying something else. Her cousin wanted to try his hands on photography, and Natasa became the subject, as he had called her. In her words:

"So, we clicked a few pictures which I posted on Facebook. And at that point of time, there was an agency in Serbia and I had them on my list. So they saw those pictures and they were like, 'Are you into modeling?' I was like, 'Why not?''

Natasa Stankovic on god's plan when she came to India

Natasa experienced the biggest cultural shock of her life, as she could not speak English. She had changed three flights to come to India. But she was blessed as she met three Serbians on her way. Natasa had plans of being in India for only three months, but she shared that god had different plans with her. She is grateful to her buddies and roommates who taught her English and who helped her navigate the complex structure of the Indian film domain. In her words:

"My roommates really helped me. They used to teach me even at home, even when we used to go for auditions. I only knew a few words. I would know how to ask you for your name, tell you my name, maybe ask you where is this place?" 

Natasa Stankovic's big break in Bollywood

Natasa shared that her break in Bollywood came when she got a role in Prakash Jha's, Satyagraha in the song, Aiyo Ji. She shared that it was her first audition, and she felt proud as she cracked the same. She was told to do a freestyle dance to the song that was played. She then went on to work with Badshah on the popular song DJ Waale Babu. The actress and mother of Agastya has been working in India for over a decade.

Natasa Stankovic opens up on feeling lost

Natasa, going ahead in the interview, shared she has been strict with herself and has always been grounded but feels she could do more. She credits herself for being bold in life, making concrete decisions and taking certain steps. In her words:

"How I used to do it at an early stage of my career like coming to India. But like at one point of time I felt lost. I would think a lot about many things (Get conscious). Maybe it comes with the age also. I feel I could have done more things with respect to work."
