The movie, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos marks the directorial debut of comedian, Vir Das. Apart from him, the film also stars Aamir Khan, Imran Khan, Sharib Hashmi, Mithila Palkar, Mona Singh and more. The spy comedy film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions. Well, he did not bag the biggest paycheque. Reportedly, it was the director of the film, Vir Das who took home somewhere between Rs. 3 to Rs. 4 crore for both direction and playing the lead.

Talking about the Ghajini actor, Aamir Khan, he charged around Rs. 2-3 crore for his cameo in the film, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. It is worth mentioning that these figures haven’t been confirmed by the actors or the makers of the film. Reportedly, Aamir Khan’s character plays an important role in the climax of the spy comedy film.

Apart from Vir Das and Aamir Khan, the film also stars Sharib Hashmi, Mithila Palkar, Imran Khan and more, who were paid a massive amount for their roles in the film. According to a report by Filmibeat, much-loved Bollywood actor, Imran Khan, who reportedly plays the role of the main antagonist was paid around Rs. 50-75 lakhs.

Sharib Hashmi, reportedly was given around Rs. 1 crore for his role. For those who do not know, Sharib Hashmi is well known for his roles in Jab Tak Hain Jaan, The Family Man, Vikram Vedha and more. The female lead of Happy Patel, Mithila Palkar took home a whopping amount of Rs. 1-1.5 crore. Recently, Mithila revealed that even though Aamir Khan wasn’t present during her auditions, he had appreciated her after seeing it later.
