Hansika Motwani, who is a popular South Indian actress, is making headlines again, this time not for any film, but because of her personal life. Hansika Motwani got married to businessman, Sohael Khaturiya in December 2022, and now, within three years, they are facing problems, which have sparked separation rumours online. Amid this, the couple has chosen to stay silent about their divorce.

In mid July 2025, there were multiple reports, which claimed that the couple might be living separately. A report by The Hindustan Times suggested that Hansika was living with her mother and Sohael was living with his parents, within two years of their marriage. The pin-drop silence on Hansika's Instagram handle intensified the rumours, as there were no posts with Sohael since a long time. However, reportedly, in a statement, Sohael denied the rumours by saying, "It's not true." But, the social media didn't seem to be convinced by his statement. 

Amid all the rumours, fans are waiting for some clarity. Neither Hansika nor her team has given any official statement and Sohael's statement seems very unclear. The lack of clarity and the couple's public silence is only increasing the rumours around their separation. These rumours have also sparked gossip regarding their personal matters.

Popular actress, Hansika Motwani, tied the knot with Sohael Khaturiya in December 2022, in a grand and beautiful ceremony held at the Mundota fort and palace in Jaipur. But before their marriage, the couple found themselves in the middle of a controversy. The controversy was all about calling Hansika a "home breaker". Sohael was previously married to Rinky Bajaj, who reportedly was a close friend of Hansika. So, Hansika and Sohael's marriage led to the rumours that Hansika came in between Sohael's previous marriage. 

Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya's was so grand that it ended up becoming a series on Disney+ Hotstar by the name, Love Shaadi Drama. The show gave fans a behind-the-scenes look of their wedding, including personal moments, challenges and the drama they faced. While some users liked the series, some felt that commercialising such a thing was not needed. Despite the backlash, the series attracted quite some viewers.

Since the time, the rumours around their divorce have intensified, users on Reddit have also shared their thoughts, which do not seem to be in favour of the couple. One user commented, "Karma does its job." Another user wrote, "I am interested in knowing who is the person Suhel cheated with now, cos once a cheater is always a cheater!" A third user joked about their wedding show and penned, "Bro they had a wedding show on hotstar." Another user said, "Karma at least in this case found the address. Hansika deserved it for cheating on her friend."

Hansika Motwani started her acting career as a child actor in Bollywood. As a child, she appeared in popular films like Koi… Mil Gaya and Aabra Ka Daabra. Later, Hansika shifted from Bollywood to Telugu and Tamil cinema, where she appeared in films like Mappillai and Engeyum Kadhal. But, she gained wider recognition for her wedding series, Love Shaadi Drama.
