The gorgeousness is levelling up in her professional life as she is all set to sell her makeup and skincare brand, Rhode, to Elf Beauty Inc. for 1 Billion US Dollars, which, if converted into INR, turns out to be Rs. 8,320 crore. The beauty label Rhode is already making waves across the world, and the deal has struck more eyes.

For the unversed, on May 28, 2025, Elf, in a press statement, revealed that they would be paying 800 million US Dollars to the shareholders of Rhode in cash and stocks combination. Over the years, celebrity-owner makeup and skincare brands have become all the rage among millennials and Gen Z. Hailey Bieber has beautifully transformed herself into a successful businesswoman. While it is true that she didn't exactly come from a poverty line, she has carved her own path to be the owner of a billion-dollar beauty label. When she was young, she was sure of becoming a ballerina. In fact, she took her training for the same at the American Ballet Theatre in New York. However, a nasty foot injury took away her dream of becoming a ballerina. But as they say, if God closes one door, he opens a huge door to success.

At the age of 17, Hailey signed as a model for modelling agency, For Models, and landed her first paying gig with French Connection. While her first project didn't pay her a lot, it gave her recognition and opened the doors to a successful career. The same year, she walked on the runway for Topshop and French designer, Sonia Rykiel. 

By 2015, Hailey had appeared in American Vogue and Teen Vogue, and she was slowly making it big in the fashion world. And soon her pay cheques were getting bigger. In 2016, she got signed with a big modelling agency, IMG Model. That same year, she made it big on the cover of Marie Claire as a 'fresh face'. Soon, she walked the runway for Moschino, and her bank account also got the needed makeover.

By 2017, Hailey landed her first TV hosting opportunity with TBS' Drop The Mic, which helped her make big money per episode. It was in 2018 that she found the man of her dreams, Justin Bieber and settled with him.

However, it was in June 2022, when Hailey took the leap of faith and launched her own beauty label, Rhode, a name kept after her middle name. Hailey didn't just took it as a business project but rather as her own baby, and the brand started with three products — Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream and Peptide Lip Treatment. That's it! The minimalistic beauty line's first year brought in around 30 million US Dollars in revenue. 

The label's products sold out faster than Justin Bieber's concert tickets. People were eying on the stocks, and it was sold off as soon as it was stocked. By 2024, Rhode pulled in nearly 200 million US Dollars annually, and the company has the potential to be worth over 1 Billion US Dollars.

Well, Hailey is a living example that successful women don't procrastinate; they take step to achieve their dream. When her ballet dream was crushed, she went on with another, which eventually turned her into a billionaire.
