In the snap, the pop icon was seen wearing a black baseball cap, blue short-sleeve button-down and white undershirt, while the Rhode founder was seen wearing a white, cropped T-shirt and denim shorts. After seeing the picture closely, it is easily understandable that it was captured years ago. In the picture, the couple was seen kissing passionately. Sharing the mushy picture, Hailey wrote:

"10 New Years together and counting."

Soon after Hailey’s 10 years together post surfaced online, users took it on Reddit and started raising questions regarding their relationship timeline. A user wrote, "I remember that messy timeline like it was yesterday, and yes, he was with Selena in 2017/18." Another user commented, "10, really? The timeline is a bit blurry." Pointing out that Justin was with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, after Hailey’s shared snap was captured, a Redditor wrote, "He was literally with Selena after this picture was taken…. What, 10 years???"

Another user commented, "And how many of those years was he cheating on Selena with you or using you to make her jealous? Not really a flex, is it, love?" Making fun of Hailey, a user wrote, "The way she always tries to rewrite history is hilarious. It can’t be 10 years since he was still on and off with Selena for 3 years after this pic was taken." While a section of users trolled Hailey for her post, a few users came to her defence. Defending her, a user penned, "She means the 10th anniversary of that pic in the Bahamas."

Justin and Hailey were teens when they met for the first time. It was Hailey’s father, Stephen, who introduced her to the pop icon. However, over the years, Justin had multiple relationships, including Selena Gomez and a brief fling with Sofia Richie. On July 10, 2018, Justin confirmed his engagement with Hailey Bieber. He wrote a lengthy, heartfelt note along with two mushy snaps. An excerpt from the note can be read as:

In November 2018, Justin confirmed his marriage to Hailey Bieber. He shared a fun-filled photo featuring him and Hailey and wrote, "My wife is awesome." According to a report by Elle, the next day, Hailey changed her last name and added Bieber to her social media accounts.
