Gauahar Khan is currently living the best phase of her life. The model-turned-actress and her husband, Zaid Darbar are totally enjoying the parenthood journey of their lives. For the unversed, the much-in-love couple got married on December 25, 2022. And now, the lovebirds are all set to welcome their first child, and they couldn't be any happier than this. Moreover, the excitement level of the mommy-to-be has no bounds and recently, she talked about this new journey of her life.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Gauahar Khan opened up about embracing parenthood with her husband, Zaid Darbar. Talking about how she feels about entering a new phase of her life, the mom-to-be revealed that she cannot explain the feeling, and all she can say is that both she and her husband are really happy. The actress mentioned that she wants to share her pregnancy journey with her fans so that she can seek their blessings. In her words:
"Zaid and I are both excited. Want to cherish this time despite being in the limelight. I want to keep things low key as possible but being a public figure, I wanted to put it out as well as take the blessings of people who have been with me. This will be a completely new journey for both of us and even I can’t put my finger on exactly how I am feeling. We are both happy."
In the same conversation, Gauahar also talked about continuing her work during her pregnancy. The actress also revealed that during the first 3 months of her pregnancy, she was working non-stop. She even mentioned that she shot for an action show and even did a few stunts by herself. Further, the soon-to-be mommy stated that she will be super busy in the coming months as a lot of work is lined up. She also mentioned that will not stop working post-pregnancy as she has not sat ideally for the last 20 years. Revealing the people have already started asking her to slow down, Gauahar said:
"I shot for an action show and I was so enthu that I even did a few stunts myself. I will be working through January as I have many live events so there will be a lot of travel. And I have things lined up till mid-February. People have already been telling me to not work so much. Maybe I will get calls for pregnant woman roles, if anyone needs a pregnant woman for the next five months."
Further, in the same interview, Gauahar opened up about having motherly instincts. Talking about the same, the actress said that being a mother is an indescribable feeling. She also said that she has already been around her nieces and nephews and has been a mother figure to them, so she believes that all her motherhood feeling will be multiplied in the case of her own child.
For the unversed, it was on December 20, 2022, when Gauahar had surprised everyone with her pregnancy announcement. Taking to her IG handle, the mommy-to-be shared an adorable video created by Pixie Dust Design, featuring caricatures of Gauahar and her hubby, Zaid. Along with the cutesy video, Gauahar revealed that the duo is expecting their first baby.
