He expressed his grief over the tragic passing and shared that the loss was a terrible shock for their family. He later mentioned that the Australian food influencer was very proud of her work and it held a special place in her life. Nathan’s message can be read as:

"Stace passed away shortly after giving birth to our beautiful baby boy. It's come as an absolute terrible tragedy and shock to our family the likes of which we didn't think possible. Her work was an incredible part of her life and she took great pride in what she did."

What was the real cause of death behind Stacey Hatfield's tragic passing at home?

According to a note shared by Stacey Hatfield’s husband, Nathan on his Instagram handle, the food influencer has passed away due to an extremely rare complication during the child birth. He also mentioned that the tragic incident happened after Stacey successfully gave birth to their first child, a son named Axel. He also mentioned that the Melbourne-based content creator was also taken to hospital, but despite the hospital staffs efforts, she tragically passed away at the age of 30. "Stace passed away on the 29th September 2025 after successfully giving birth to our firstborn son, Axel, at home. Tragically, shortly after, an unforeseen and extremely rare complication arose and she passed away after being transferred to hospital. Hospital staff were amazing and did the utmost to help, but ultimately nothing could be done despite their best efforts."

"As her husband, I couldn't ask for a better partner. She was the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent and trustworthy human being I've ever known. She made me the man I am today and everything i have in life is all thanks to her. The happiest day of my life was getting to marry her, my best friend, on a white sand beach in the Maldives."
