'Metro... In Dino's' 'Dil Ka Kya' Touches Hearts, Fans Compare It To Legend KK's Song, 'Alvida'

The makers of the film, Metro... In Dino has released a new song called Dil Ka Kya, and it is already making people fall in love with it. The song features Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan along with other members of the entire cast and the song is a blend of pain and love and fans are comparing it to the iconic Alvida track from the 2007 film, Life in a... Metro, sung by the legendary singer, KK.

An emotional song, Dil Ka Kya

The song, Dil Ka Kya was released by T-Series and is composed by Pritam, penned by Anurag Sharma and beautifully sung by Raghav Chaitanya. The music video shows emotional moments between various couples played by Aditya Roy Kapur-Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal-Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi-Konkona Sen Sharma, and Neena Gupta-Anupam Kher. Each pair is shown dealing with heartbreak, emotional distance or personal struggles, making the visuals deeply relatable and emotional. 

As the video progresses, viewers see moments of silence, arguments, stares and unspoken feelings, everything covered up with a beautiful melody. Pritam and Papon, along with their band, can also be seen performing the track live on stage in the video, adding to the musical depth of the song, and making the song a complete emotional roller coaster ride for the viewers. 

Reaction of the fans on the song, Dil Ka Kya

Fans were absolutely in awe of the music of this song. In no time, they filled the comment section with a lot of love. Several users mentioned how Dil Ka Kya brought back memories of Alvida from Life in a... Metro, which had also featured stories of love and separation.

One user wrote, “It feels 2006-07 all over again!!”, another commented, “If KK was with us, he would have definitely sung this song”. A user even appreciated Sara Ali Khan’s look and said, “Sara looks pretty”. Several other fans missed KK and commented, “Still missing Legend Singer KK”.
