Emilie Kiser Adresses The Loss Of Toddler Son, What Caused The Shocking Death Of The 3-Year Old?

Emilie Kiser became a mom of two in March 2025 after welcoming her second baby boy, Theodore and making her first son, Trigg, a proud older brother. However, a few months later, the Arizona-based influencer and her husband, Brady faced the greatest tragedies of their lives. Trigg, the couple's older son, passed away at the age of 3 years old due to a very unfortunate incident. As Emilie has finally broken her silence over this heartbreaking loss, here's everything about her son's death. 

Emilie Kiser's son's cause of death revealed 

On May 12, 2025, Emilie's three-year-old son, Trigg, fell in their home pool and drowned. The toddler was hospitalised after the incident but unfortunately passed away on May 18, 2025. When the incident took place, Brady was the only parent at home and later stated to the police that he had left Trigg unattended for three to five minutes. However, police reports suggest that in the video evidence, the toddler was unsupervised for more than nine minutes and was in the pool for seven of those minutes. 

In a recent statement released on her Instagram handle, Emilie took full responsibility as the toddler's mother and stated that she wishes she had done more to 'protect him'. The parents had also received backlash from people when the tragic news spread everywhere. They were accused of negligence by having an open pool despite being parents of small children.

Emilie also addressed this and said that the hardest lesson she has learnt is that a permanent pool could have saved her son's life. Moving forward, this is something she will not overlook again, the grieving mother mentioned. Emilie also hoped that her tragedy might help other families install a pool fence and avoid a similar incident. In her statement, she wrote:

"I take full accountability as Trigg's mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him. One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it's something I will never overlook again. I hope amidst this pain, Trigg's story will help prevent other children and families from suffering the same loss."

Emilie Kiser talked about her grief and how she will be putting more boundaries on what she shares online 

As per a People report, Emilie had filed a plea with nearly a hundred requests. One of them was to seal the records of Trigg's death, especially the video footage. The influencer stated that she wanted to protect her infant son from seeing the 'horror' of the final moments of his older brother. Emilie also mentioned that due to the intense media scrutiny, unknown people have been showing up at her house, and the media have been circling her residence to get a comment. 

Amid this, Emilie also addressed her social media presence as a family content creator. She said that through this tragedy, she has witnessed that social media relationships 'lack boundaries'. Along with expressing her gratitude to her followers for the compassion they have shown, Emilie also revealed that she would be maintaining boundaries in what she shares online from now on. The influencer shared:

"When I started on social media in 2021 as a new mom, my goal was to connect with other moms and find a community. I now have seen through this tragedy how relationships online lack boundaries, especially in protecting children's privacy. Moving forward, I will be establishing more boundaries with what I share online. In the future, I hope to be in a place to share more about how I am navigating this grief, but right now, all I can say is thank you for the love, compassion, patience and space you've given us to grieve."
