Dipika Kakar's Liver Tumour Surgery, Sambhavna Gives Her Health Update, 'Meri Baat Hui Saba Se..'

Dipika Kakar and her family have been going through a devastating time as the actress' whole life changed within a month. Dipika suffered chronic stomach pain, and when she got herself checked, she was diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her stomach. Her difficulties didn't end there, as further check-ups led to Dipika being diagnosed with stage-2 liver cancer. She underwent surgery for the same on June 4, 2025. Now, Sambhavna Seth gave an update about the same. 

Sambhavna Seth gives an update about Dipika Kakar's health

Sambhavna Seth, who often shares her life with her fans on YouTube, talked about Dipika Kakar's surgery in her latest vlog. In the video, the actress revealed that she had a word with Saba Ibrahim, who also welcomed her first child. Sambhavna revealed that she tried talking to Dipika, but she didn't pick it up, and she understood why she didn't answer her call. Instead, she dialled up her sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim, who also welcomed her first child. Sambhavna said:

"Aaj meri Saba se baat hogyi, finally meri baat ho gayi. Itne din se mai ne Deepika ka phone kiya tha par usne uthaya nai tha. Obiviously kyo nahi uthaya hum jante hai jiske ghar mein itni sari takleefe ho. Toh mai ne Saba se aaj baat ki. Or Saba boli mai apko saamne se khud hi phone karne wali thi, or mai samjh rahi thi ki aap mujhe kyo nahi call kar rahe ho."

Sambhavna revealed that she wasn't able to call Saba as she didn't think she should be congratulating her for the arrival of her baby boy or talking about Dipika's health. She told her everything, and Saba understood her emotions as the entire family had been going through it. Sambhavna added that she would be going to meet Saba but wouldn't be meeting Dipika right now. She shared:

"Mai Saba se jaa kar milungi, uske baby se milungi, par Deepika ko mai jaa kar nahi milungi. Kyunki uske ghar nahi jaungi because isme kya hota hai na ap ka cancer ka koi bhi surgery hoti hai ya aisi major surgery jo hoti hai usme apko logo se durr rehna hota hai. Kyunki jitna ap logo se milte ho, utna infection badne ke chances hote hai toh doctor bhi yahi bolte hai."

Sambhavna revealed that they had decided by the time she would be meeting Saba, Dipika might get back home, but she is not sure, as she would be in the ICU for two days at least, then she would be shifted to a normal ward. Whenever she was back home, she would video call her. Sambhavna added that Saba told her the family went through a lot of difficulties as the moment her baby was born, Dipika's cancer report came. Sambhavna added that she is not going to give any update about Dipika as her family would be giving it. She even added to pray for her.

When Shoaib updated about Dipika's surgery

Dipika and Shoaib's huge fan base constantly prayed for the actress' good health. Taking to his Instagram handle, Shoaib penned a note and stated that Dipika was in operation theatre for 14 hours. However, everything is all good, and Dipika has been shifted to ICU as she was in pain. He further thanked everyone who prayed for her and supported the family.
