Dipika Kakar Undergoes Mammography After 1.5 Months Of Liver Cancer Surgery Says, 'Lymph Nodes..'

Sasural Simar Ka fame, Dipika Kakar, had to undergo stage 2 liver cancer surgery in May 2025. It was a 14-hour-long operation where her tumour was surgically removed. Now, Shoaib recently shared on his vlog that Dipika had to undergo a mammography test, and the actress shared the reason behind the same. She began by telling in her vlog that she has been unwell for a while and that her fans are aware of what is going on.

Dipika Kakar gives latest health update, shares reason behind doing a mammography test

Shoaib accompanied Dipika for the mammography test, which supposedly took place on July 15, 2025. Both were sitting inside the car when the actress shared that right from January 2025, when she was doing MasterChef, there was pain in her left shoulder. At that time, they were unable to understand what it was, but learned from the doctors that it was due to the enlargement of the lymph nodes. She shared that she was developing the condition in her left breast, and doctors thought it was the reason for the pain. Then, when they did the second diagnosis, it was found that Dipika had an injury in the muscle. The actress then added:

"Phir uske baad abhi Dr Somnath ne bataya ki woh pain essi wajah se hoh sakta hai. Mere surgery ko almost 1.5 months hoh gaya hai. woh pain ab tak wapas nai aaya hai. Esliye uss waqt jab humne mammography ki thi aur lymph nodes thei toh tab Dr Shweta ne kaha tha ki waise mujhe kuch kharab nai lag raha hai but ek safe side ke liye hum essei teen mahine mei repeat karenge. Teen mahine ke jagah zyada hoh gaya tha because of all this. Just as a safety precaution, Dr Shweta said Let's just do it again."

Dipika Kakar shares that she takes tablets to suppress her milk and wean off Ruhaan

Dipika, earlier in her vlogs, has mentioned that she was forced to wean off her little two-year-old son post the diagnosis. This was because she had to undergo a major surgery, and the actress cried a river as she weaned her son. She shared that she had been taking tablets for the pain, which then gave her pain on the left side of her breast. Dipika added:

"Phir suddenly maine Ruhaan ko wean off kia, bhale maine tablets wagera li thi milk ko suppress karne ke liye lekin halka sa uss din maine feel kia thoda sa pain hora hai toh ekdum se aise lagta hai ki koi bhi risk nai lena hai. Pehle hi jake karwa lo aise bhi time ho hi raha tha toh Shoaib ne bola ki nothing doing chalte hai aur mamography karate hai."

When Dipika Kakar shared of feeling happy as Ruhaan was weaned off

Dipika took the name of the almighty and shared that everything is fine with her at the moment, and her lymph node enlargement has also disappeared. The actress who always looks at the brighter side of life in her YouTube vlog had also revealed of being happy as Ruhaan was weaned off. She shared:

"There is always a good reason for everything. When we found out that my tumour was second-stage cancer, I was still feeding him. But then weaning off was good because I was relieved to know that he didn’t have to be fed what I was supposed to have, like medications."
