Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been released in theatres on March 19, 2026, and as expected, people have been in awe of the movie. Since the time the movie was announced, it created a clamour around with the assumptions of the movie being made on real-events, later CFBC cleared Ranveer Singh's movie Dhurandhar for release, and declared it to be a purely fictional work and not a biopic.
Well, the movie has hit a nerve with the audience, and they have been restlessly searching for whether 'Hamza Ali Mazari' existed in real life. In the movie, 'Hamza Ali Mazari' has been shown to be 'Jaskirat Singh Rangi'. However, recently, a podcast of Ranveer Allahbadia about the same topic caused a clamour around yet again, which even led people to link the seemingly fictionalised 'Hamza' to a real-life alleged Indian spy.
Disclaimer: Spoilers Ahead
In Aditya Dhar's movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, it was shown that 'Hamza Ali Mazari' was actually 'Jaskirat Singh Rangi', who was preparing to join the military; however, the tragic fate of his family turned him emotionally vengeful, and he killed 12 people, leading to a death sentence. However, he was picked and given training to become an Indian spy, 'Hamza', who not only entered Pakistan but also took revenge while killing 'unknown men' who were responsible for the terrorist attacks in India. He also took revenge on some of the biggest names in the underground world, which the audience can find out while watching the movie. The movie was not only loved, but it's living rent-free in people's heads.

While the craze for the movie is up, Ranveer Allahbadia shared a podcast recently with a title, 'Asli Hazma Ali Mazari Ki Kahani', wherein it was revealed by the guest that it can be possible that 'Hamza' was not just the portrayal of a single person but of several ones, who took part in operations and worked for our nation.

While this was believable, the conversation began as he mentioned an alleged Indian spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav. To mention, there is no official confirmation about anything in real-life being connected to the reel-life events around 'Hamza', the character of Aditya Dhar's movie. In the podcast, it was also not mentioned, but the story revealed how Kulbhushan Jadhav reached near 'Uzari Baloch' in real life, which grabbed the attention and made people wonder if 'Hamza' could possibly portray the former. The reason was that 'Uzair' was a part of the movie, played by Danish Pandor.

Kulbhushan Jadhav is an Indian national who has been incarcerated in Pakistan since 2016, with Pak accusing him of being an Indian spy. Well, in the podcast, it was revealed that Kulbhushan wanted to do something for the country, and he himself did whatever he had to do. A few days ago, Reddit was also filled with conversation around the movie, carrying some essence from this particular event and person, as well; however, nothing is officially confirmed, and the movie has been cleared to be a 'fictionalised' work, not a biopic. However, to mention, Aditya Dhar claimed that his movie, Dhurandhar, is inspired by, but not directly based on, real-life Indian intelligence operations.
