Dhruv Vikram's movie Bison Kaalamaadan has been making headlines as it is all set to cross Rs. 100 crore at the box office, exceeding expectations of Rs. 50 crore in 10 days. The movie has been a topic of discussion not just for its leads' acting, but also for its gripping plot. The movie was released in theaters on October 17, 2025, and Mari Sevaraj drew inspiration from the real-life Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan to bring the fictional story of 'Kittan Velusamy' to life. Amid the movie making waves at the box office, let's know when it's releasing on OTT, as people are eagerly waiting for the same.
For the unversed, Dhruv Vikram's movie Bison Kaalamaadan will be released on the OTT giant, Netflix. While the makers haven't confirmed the exact release date, fans are waiting with bated breath. For the unversed, reports also mention that the movie can stream on Netflix only after 30 days of its theatrical run, which means it can stream on OTT late in November or early or late December of 2025. Well, it's worth noting that the exact date of the movie's OTT release hasn't been confirmed yet, so the audience will have to wait a bit longer for the official confirmation.

As of now, Bison is roaring at the box office and has reportedly grossed Rs. 85 crore worldwide within 10 days of its release. Sanclik reported that the movie was made on a budget of Rs. 30 crore. If it's authentic information, the movie already has its feather in the 'successful' tag, given its domestic box-office gross of Rs. 35.25 crore. Great reviews, both from the audience and the critics, are coming ahead. Thus, it's expected that within the next few weeks, the movie will surely make another blast at the box office before its OTT release, which can also hint at the fact that OTT release can get delayed, which the makers would probably want to do to keep on with the theatrical success for more days.

Dhruv Vikram's movie Bison Kaalamaadan tells the story of 'Kittan Velusamy', who, born in a rural area rife with caste oppression, dreamt of becoming a prominent Kabaddi player. His dreams and dedication continued to face blows due to the fact that in his village, there is caste discrimination, politics, violence, and brutality.

Thus, 'Kittan Velusamy's fight didn't only remain limited against the opposition party at the court but also against the society, which saw his talent as a threat and tried to crush it down with evil deeds. Bison in the movie name, and even through the recurring images on posters became metaphorical here, which was kept in parallel to 'Kittan's character, who couldn't be tamed. In the movie, 'Kittan Velusamy' eventually turns his pain into power, thereby defying the hierarchy by reclaiming his self-identity through his strength and self-respect.
