Devoleena Bhattacharjee Slammed Trolls Who Called Her 7-Month Son, Joy, Dark And Dusky

Popular television actress, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who is known for her role as 'Gopi Modi' in the loved show, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, is living the best phase of her life as she is enjoying motherhood. But recently, regarding the same, she faced a wave of hateful comments after she shared a picture of her son. Rather than ignoring it, she defended her child and slammed those trolls. 

Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s son, Joy faces trolling

A few days ago, Devoleena shared an unseen photo of her 7-month old son, Joy. She was seen celebrating that milestone, but users on Instagram did not let her enjoy that moment with her son. They filled the comment section with negativity and trolls, comparing Joy's dusky complexion with ter*****. One user commented, "Your son doesn't look like u", while another said, "Ye kallu hai." A third user penned, "Lagta hai baap pe gya hai." A user wrote, "Fairness cream lgao aise bachy ko koi", while another also said, "Mujhe lga kisi labour ka bacha utha lia.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee slammed the trolls 

After receiving all the trolls on her Instagram post, Devoleena did not ignore those users, rather she took a screenshot of their profile, shared their comment and slammed them on her Instagram Story. She replied to almost everyone who tried to troll her son. For all the trolls, she replied directly by questioning their mentality and warned people close to those users to stay away from this type of thinking. One user had commented, "Little aat****", to which Devoleena took to her Instagram Story and replied:

"Ye hai so called musician. And yaa do*** enthusiast. Bhagwan inse jude sabhi musicians ka bhala karein and dogs salamat rahe. Ye apne apko tag mention nahi karne dete par dusro ke posts par apni low life ki manasikata bakhoobi darshate hai.."

Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shanwaz Shaikh’s love story

Devoleena Bhattacharjee met the gym trainer, Shanawaz Shaikh in 2018, at a gym. They initially bonded over physiotherapy sessions when Devoleena had a back injury. Gradually, their friendship deepened and turned into love. Shanawaz stood beside Devoleena during her difficult days, which were full of injury and anxiety. 

Later, during the pandemic, he proposed to her and the couple did a court marriage in Lonavala on December 14, 2022. Despite facing trolls, their love overpowered everything else. During that time also, when trolls said "love ji***", Devoleena replied back strongly. In December 2024, the couple welcomed their first child- a son, Joy.

She was born on August 22, 1985, in a Bengali family, and completed her schooling from Assam. She first appeared on the reality show, Dance India Dance, and then did hit roles in TV serials. Apart from TV shows, she also appeared in Bigg Boss, not once but three times. In Bigg Boss 13, she came as a contestant, in Season 14, she appeared as a proxy for Eijaz Khan and in Season 15, she was a wild card entry. All three times, she was loved by the audience for her opinions and emotions.
