It was last year, on September 8, 2025, when the duo welcomed their daughter, Dua. The actress and her husband didn't reveal the face of their child and opted for a 'no photo policy' for the little one. This step has been taken by several other celebrities over the years, and the paps have always respected the same. Recently, even after Deepika and Ranveer's multiple requests not to post their daughter's photo, it happened.

If the reports are to be believed, recently, a video of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, made rounds on social media. In the video, Dua was seen sitting on Deepika's lap, decked in a blue-toned co-ord set. Deepika, in the video, looked irritated over the person behind the camera, while the little one was all curiously looking here and there. Reportedly, she stopped the recording instantly as she didn't want her daughter's face to be revealed on social media.

No sooner did the video go viral than netizens started reacting to the same. Some remained in awe of Deepika and Ranveer's baby girl, Dua's cuteness, and called her the 'carbon copy of Ranveer Singh'. On the other hand, other netizens slammed the uploader for breaching the actress's and the little one's privacy, even after multiple requests. The uploader faced the wrath, which ultimately led the person to remove the video.

Paps revealed what Deepika and Ranveer's daughter looks like?

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hosted a press meet to let their daughter meet the paps, and requested them not to click her photos. The duo warmly welcomed the photographers and even let them meet their baby girl, Dua. Yogen Shah revealed that when Deepika brought her daughter to meet them, the little one was sleeping. He also shared that her facial features were an amalgamation of both her parents', and when she fluttered open her eyes, it reflected beauty and innocence.

On the other hand, another pap shared that although the facial features of a baby change over time, Dua looked more like her mumma, Deepika. Since Dua's birth, Deepika has been taking care of her, along with her husband, Ranveer. Reportedly, just like some other celebrities, she also didn't hire a nanny and looked after her daughter all by herself.

Ranveer Singh has also proved his skills as an amazing father, the way he takes care of Dua. Deepika has been open about her motherhood journey for the last few months, and she has tagged this phase as transformative. In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Deepika said that it's a surreal feeling, something like a person wanting something for years and finally getting it. She also said how she and her husband look at their daughter when she sleeps, thinking about how this beautiful miracle happened to them.
