'Criminal Justice 4' Finale Episode Date REVEALED, Redditors Identified Who Killed 'Roshni'

Criminal Justice, the franchise whose heart lies with 'Madhav Mishra', has made a bang in 2025. This time, Season 4 is named Criminal Justice: A Family Matter. For the unversed, the first three episodes of Criminal Justice Season 4 premiered on May 29, 2025, and since then, OTT platform Hotstar has been releasing a total of 8 episodes of Season 4 in a weekly format. Although, the fans' demand for releasing all episodes on the same day for binge-watching was not fulfilled, there is still huge anticipation surrounding the series. Now that the 7th episode has already been released on June 26, 2025, fans are eager to know the finale episode date and find out the killer in the series.

Earlier this month, a source close to the industry informed Filmibeat that the legal drama, Criminal Justice, is a valuable property of JioHotstar, and thus, the executives have kept the weekly pattern to release the episodes of Criminal Justice Season 4. The source also stated that the franchise's popularity clearly indicated that the finale episode would be a blockbuster. The source can be quoted as saying:

"Criminal Justice is a huge property for JioHotstar, and the executives know the popularity of the franchise. They have followed the weekly pattern to grab more eyeballs and create anticipation for the web series. As Criminal Justice 4 episodes 1-7 have received a mind-boggling response on the platform, the network is excited to premiere the finale episode of the crime legal drama soon. Criminal Justice season 4 will continue to follow the same pattern when it comes to releasing the episodes. It was clear from the beginning that the web series would have a blockbuster grand finale episode in July 2025."

After a lot of buzz around the finale date of Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, the makers have now cleared the air. In a statement, the team behind the hit courtroom drama, Criminal Justice Season 4, confirmed that the finale episode has not yet been released and that the mystery surrounding 'Roshni's' murder will be unveiled on July 3, 2025, in the 8th episode of Season 4, which is the grand finale episode of this season. They also stated the reason why such buzz has been created. According to them, when someone edited the Wikipedia page of the show and stated incorrectly that the finale episode of Criminal Justice Season 4 was on June 26, 2025, it caused confusion, as it was actually the 7th episode that was released on June 26, 2025.

Redditors identified the killer of 'Roshni': 'Anju' or 'Dr. Raj Nagpal'

While 'Madhav Mishra' is yet to put a nail in the coffin and show his courtroom magic, Redditors have put on the coat of a detective and have already been on a different mission to track down the killer of nurse, 'Roshni Saluja'. Initially, 'Ira Nagpal' was on the list of top suspects, but after the 7th Episode aired on June 26, 2025, on JioHotstar, fans are now a bit convinced that it is 'Dr. Raj Nagpal’s' wife, 'Anju', who can be the main killer in Season 4. One eagle-eyed Redditor noticed 'Anju’s' silent yet main involvement in 'Roshni’s' murder. Declaring 'Anju' as the main killer, the user wrote:

"I think I found a huge clue that might reveal who the real killer is (big spoiler if this is true so proceed w caution) EPISODE 1, around 27:15 – When Anju enters and finds Raj with Roshni’s body, look at the kitchen table: there’s a milk carton, a glass, and a dropper bottle on it. These exact items show up later in Anju’s trash! Then at 29:25, when the police arrive, the entire table is cleared, even Roshni’s purse is moved. This means Anju changed the scene after calling the cops!! Also, Anju’s hair is wet when she enters the flat, meaning she probably just showered — possibly to wash off blood from the killing or a struggle. And I doubt her flat was checked for blood traces. So here’s my theory: Anju killed Roshni. Raj is guilty by association."

Some redditors also suspect both 'Ira' and 'Anju's' involvement in 'Roshni's' murder. Sharing the same doubt, one user wrote, "Just finished watching episode 7 and I think this is most likely true. Do you think it's possible Ira could have done it in anger, and Anju saved her? They keep talking about a secret, so what does Ira know?" Another user commented:

"Hainaaa even I feel it’s Ira + Anju. What if Anju came to give Ira her medicine, assuming Roshni wouldn’t show up? But then Roshni walked in, saw Anju caring for Ira, and lost it. A fight broke out — Roshni blamed Anju for Raj and everything else. The chaos might’ve overwhelmed Ira, and in a panic, she pushed Roshni, causing the shelf to break and the showpiece (with the scalpel) to fall. Roshni may have then turned her anger on Ira — and in that moment, Anju used the scalpel on Roshni to protect Ira."
