Rajinikanth is going to come back on the big screen with Coolie on August 14, 2025. The film, directed by Lokesh Kangaraj, is already set to be a hit, according to early tweets on X. Netizens have already speculated that Coolie is set to be Rajinikanth's most power-packed and impactful performance after his movie, Kabali. The reviewers on of Thalaivaa fromX have already given out their first verdict, and everyone is saying that Shruti Haasan will be in the main limelight of the movie. South megastar Nagarjuna is set to take the film ahead with his commanding screen presence. Coolie is set to give a massive theatrical experience to all the fans.

Twitteratis comment on the early reviews of Rajinikanth's movie, Coolie

Fans' expectations have surely been skyrocketed even before the release of Rajinikanth's film, Coolie. The movie will showcase Rajinikanth in a new avatar, and the packaging of the movie is set to be in total Kangaraj style. A user commented on Coolie, "Maddly waiting for this one. Added the animated visuals of the card "RAJNI 50 years". One of the early reviews of Coolie revealed inside reports that read, "Loki cooked # Rajinikanth's best performance loading after Kabali  #ShrutiHaasan is the main highlight of the film. #Nagarjuna is backbone of this film. # AamirKhan's cameo will turn the theatre into a stadium. A Twitterati predicted that violence will be in the movie and advised, "Looks like the violence is of the next level in #Coolie under 18 are not allowed." Looks of Thalaivaa from the movie went viral, and a user shared, "Thalaivar’s Coolie power explodes. This epic look will blow your mind." Users have also predicted the box office collection with one saying, "My prediction Premier's + Day 1 Worldwide Gross :- 150cr Plus." Some of them also started doing the countdown of the movie and hooted that only seven days were to go.

Aamir Khan to make his cameo in Coolie

Aamir, whose last offering was Sitaare Zameen Par, is set to do a cameo in Rajinikanth's Coolie. Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, a fan asked him about his cameo in the movie and revealed he really enjoyed doing the same. Aamir also shared that he is a big fan of Rajini sir and revealed that he did not even hear the script. In his words:

"When Lokesh told me that it is a Rajini sir’s movie and that he wanted me to do a cameo, I said, ‘Done. I am doing it. Whatever it is, I am doing it."

Coolie overseas tickets cross USD 2 million

The buzz surrounding Rajinikanth's Coolie has surged after the makers dropped the trailer. It showcases 'Lokesh's style of gritty action scenes and dramatic storytelling, which catches the eyes of the viewers. A report by the India Forums stated that the film crossed USD 2 million during the overseas pre-ticketing sales. Most of the tickets were sold in North America, and Rajinikanth is ensuring that the sale of his tickets crosses the southern states of India, and he is also targeting the international audiences. The promotions of Coolie had started off long back, and in a chain of surprising turn of events, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Coolie a rating of 'A' (Adults Only). The decision that came was totally unexpected.
