Creator Slams Vijay Deverakonda As His Criticism Clip On Actor's Comment On Brad Pitt Gets Deleted

Vijay Deverakonda is a renowned actor in the entertainment industry. He began his career with supporting roles in movies like Nuvvila and Life Is Beautiful. His breakthrough came with the movie, Yevade Subramanyam, following another massive success with the feature film, Pelli Choopulu. Vijay went on to give back-to-back blockbusters, and Arjun Reddy was one of the films, which took him to the peak of success. He was also featured in movies such as Geetha Govindam, Taxiwaala, Dear Comrade, and Kushi. Recently, Vijay made headlines as a content creator seemingly slammed him on social media for the actor's alleged reaction to a criticism video.

Vijay Deverakonda's comment about Brad Pitt and Hollywood raised eyebrows

Vijay Deverakonda raised eyebrows a few days ago with a comment about Hollywood. The actor, speaking at the WAVES Summit 2025, stated that the English-language film has become increasingly dominant in global media, which has benefited Hollywood and its actors. Vijay said that he does a film, and Brad Pitt does the same, but the latter will be paid 100 times more, not because he is better, but because people consume content in his language more.

Vijay shared that Brad Pitt will be paid more because an increasing number of people watch content in his language, and it's not his fault in any way, but rather the fault of those who have promoted the idea of the superiority of that language. Vijay could be quoted as saying:

"If I do a film and Brad Pitt does a film, he’ll be paid a hundred times more, not because he’s better, but because more people speak and consume content in his language."

Content creator slams Vijay Deverakonda, accusing him of taking down his criticism clip over the actor's comment

Vijay Deverakonda's comment didn't go down well with many people, who came forward to slam him. Several content creators have done the same, and one of them was Farhan Balaporia, who posted a video responding to the actor's comment on Hollywood from a differing perspective. Well, as per Farhan Balaporia, Vijay took down his video. While he didn't name Vijay directly, he dropped hints so much that it was easy for others to comprehend whom he was targeting in his recent video. He shared how his video about the actor's comment got deleted.

Hinting at Vijay Deverakonda, Farhan Balaporia said that he has a friend, whose name is 'Arjun', and he is not 'ready', thereby hinting at Arjun Reddy. Another hint was that he talked about Liger. For the unversed, Liger marked Vijay's debut in Bollywood. Regarding the video being deleted, Farhan mentioned that it was about the actor's comment on Hollywood, which was a simple disagreement. He stated that even low-budget Hollywood movies often perform well at the box office. The content creator revealed:

"The video that got taken down is basically him saying that Hollywood has bigger budgets because more people speak English, so the actors get paid more, and therefore they're more successful. My reaction was disagreeing with him, telling him that foreign films in different languages on low budgets have succeeded, whereas his own film with a high budget was unsuccessful."

Farhan Balaporia mentioned that even if he were to post the clip now, it would be deleted again, as it featured a clip of Vijay Deverakonda. He further called the actor insecure for not being able to take simple criticism from a random guy on social media. The creator said:

"He'll just take it down again if I re-upload it because there is a clip of him in the reel. Imagine being so insecure you can't take criticism from a random guy on the internet."
