Chetan Hansraj is one of the most handsome and superhit actors of television. He is 51 years old now, but his charisma is still very much alive. Recently, Chetan shared his journey in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, and even took a dig at Amar Upadhyay for leaving Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi at a crucial stage of the show.
During one of the segments, Chetan was questioned about whether Amar Upadhyay made the wrong decision in quitting Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Chetan called it a wrong decision as he is back now as an actor. He slammed Amar for leaving TV for films, and his fight with Ekta Kapoor. He said:
"Yes, I think so. Ab dekho firse agye vo Kyunki mein, circle has been completed now. He is now back on television as Mihir and see the difference in his life. Jis cheez ne aapko banaya hai, aapko usko aise chorke jaana galat hai mere hisab se. May be I am wrong but I think you have to respect. Picturein aati hai or jaati, television rahe raha hai."
Chetan admitted that if he had also pursued a career in films, he would be a changed man. But he always thanks god for giving him opportunities in TV. The actor shared that he would have left the industry if he had still pursued that dream. He stated that films will come and go, but TV will be forever.
Amar Upadhyay made headlines when he decided to star in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Amar called his return 'Mihir', embodying his evolution. Talking about his character, 'Mihir'. While in season 1, he had completed his MBA and returned to India to join his father's business, this time around, 'Mihir' is an established businessman. Amar was quoted as saying:
"Mihir is a bit changed in the way he moves around. He is a big businessman now. In season 1, he had done his MBA and returned to India to join his father’s business. Now he is a very big businessman, busy exploring new business ideas."
In the same conversation, Amar Upadhyay also talked about his interaction with Smriti Irani, and how she joked about his age. He said:

"When I met her at Ekta Kapoor’s house, it felt like no time had passed. We were just the same. She joked, 'Tu boodha kab hoga?' and I said, 'Abhi time hai'. She's always been grounded, and that hasn’t changed one bit. Our interaction was exactly how it used to be 25 years ago."
Ekta Kapoor's famous television show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is back after seventeen years. The show's title beautifully explained to '90s children that relationships change with a shift in dynamics, but the love remains the same as the new members join in. After 17 years, with married women handling office, children and home, Ekta's second season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is going to highlight the advanced issues that today's families are facing.
