Celina Jaitly is going through the toughest time of her life as she recently filed for divorce from her husband, and is fighting for the custody of her three children. Apart from it, Celina has also moved to court to reconnect with her brother, Major (Retd) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, who is detained in the UAE.
Amidst this, a fresh rift has emerged in the case as Vikrant's wife, Charul Jaitly, revealed that Celina Jaitly didn't inform her about consular access or the family. Charul's lawyer, Sudhanshu Pandey, told the ANI that it is unfortunate and unnecessary. He revealed that Major Vikrant had taken premature retirement in 2016-17 due to family reasons. After which, he settled in Dubai to work. He said:
"We were told there were national security and cyber-related issues involving certain companies he may have dealt with. His wife was trying to understand what exactly had happened."

The lawyer further revealed that Charul reached out to the Ministry of External Affairs, after Vikrant was granted consular access and was informed about the investigations. Charul's lawyer also slammed Celina, saying she was not helping his client when she first reached out to her in 2023. He was quoted as saying:
"Celina was the one Charul contacted first when she learned about this. But Celina did not come forward in any visible manner to help. The incident happened on September 6, 2023. Charul followed protocol and acted on advice. She waited for the case to progress."

It was in November 2025, Celina shared a heartwrenching note expressing her feelings for her brother, and mentioned that she had not been able to talk to her brother for more than a year. She added that ever since her brother was put in custody, there has been a constant fear.

As per a report in ANI, Celina Jaitly had filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag. After which, she announced her divorce and her legal fight to get her children back. As per reports, Celina filed a complaint alleging severe physical, verbal, and financial abuse at the hands of her husband. She claimed that things worsened so much that she was forced to flee their home in Austria in the middle of the night and returned to India on October 11, 2025, leaving her three children behind. Not only this, Celina further alleged that Peter has blocked all her access to her children, and she needs to fight for their custody.

She penned a long note, saying she is in the middle of a turbulent storm. She never imagined she would be fighting alone without any of her parents, brother, her children, or her husband, who promised to take care of her (hinting at her estranged husband, Peter Haag).
