Youtuber Catherine Paiz Reveals Ex-Husband, Austin Cheated On Her With 20 Women, 'I Didn't Know..'

Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom were once a loving couple on the internet. Known as the 'golden couple' of YouTube, they used to share YouTube videos about their family life, pranks and heartwarming moments with their three kids: Elle, Alaïa and Steel. After starting their channel back in 2016, they not only popularised family content on YouTube but even earned around 18 million subscribers on the internet. But everything wasn't perfect in their relationship as showcased in their vlogs and behind-the-scenes their marriage gradually hit the rock. Later, they announced their separation in 2024 without sharing the reason. However, Catherine Paiz finally decided to break her silence and recently shared what made her take the big step. 

Catherine Paiz claims Austin McBroom cheated on her

Catherine Paiz, who separated from her former husband, Austin McBroom, recently sat down for a conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast. During the talk, she discussed the reason for their separation. For those unaware, Catherine secretly tied the knot with Austin in 2017 and publicly announced it with their third pregnancy in 2020, where they seemed inseparable. However, some fans began to speculate that Austin was cheating on Catherine due to some hints. She mentioned that she didn't believe them as Austin was working and co-parenting their kids with her. Even he asked her to be quiet, but she felt something was off. In her words:

"There were moments I didn't know what to believe. Some things were true, some were distorted, some were not true — so it was really hard to tell."

One painful moment she recalled from the past was when their second daughter was 6 months old. Austin had to leave for a business trip to Miami and Catherine stayed back home looking after their kids. She once felt like she heard voices of women during their call but ignored it. However, three months later, a video on the internet claimed that Austin joined a few girls on the boat there. In another incident, during a live shoot when she was three months pregnant, Catherine saw a suspicious message on his phone which read: 

"If you really loved your wife, you wouldn't be—" 

Catherine Paiz dismisses Austin's claim that she knew about his Infidelity

In the same conversation, Catherine revealed that she isn't sure about how many women he cheated on while being with her, but she is sure about three. However, rumours suggested that he admitted that there were 20 women. A few days before her podcast show, Austin had shared a video where he acknowledged the claim of infidelity and mentioned, "I 100% stepped out of my marriage." He alleged that he knew it was wrong and would have changed things if possible, but alleged that Catherine knew about it. Austin also added that she asked him not to embarrass him, but Catherine cleared the air and said:

"I never said that. I would never be okay with cheating."

Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom have taken different paths in life 

Despite the sour heartbreak, the duo continues to share a cordial bond and live in close distance to be able to co-parent their kids. They even spent New Year 2025 together. Meanwhile, Catherine Paiz gave another chance to love and is dating Igor Ten, and Austin has decided to keep his relationships away from public light in the future. Austin McBroom reacted to Catherine's new relationship during a conversation on the Outside Voices podcast and admitted that he had met Igor and said:

"I'm trusting Catherine's judgement on bringing in the right person to be around our kids."
