Cardi B Slams 'Disrespectful' Pregnancy Rumours About Offset And Stefon Diggs, Amid Assault Trial

Cardi B is one of the most famous American rappers known worldwide. She holds various awards and rewards among women rappers in hip hop. Not only this, but she also holds the record for the most number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and is the only female rapper to achieve multiple solo number ones. However, she has recently been making headlines for her highly publicised court appearance and the pregnancy rumours surrounding the same.

Cardi B slams reporter for disrespectful question about her rumoured pregnancy

Cardi B was making her way out of the Los Angeles courtroom on September 2, 2025, when she was asked about the speculations surrounding her pregnancy with baby number four. The rumours have come months after her separation from Offset and her alleged romance with the NFL star, Stefon Diggs. However, as soon as the report questioned the possible paternity of her rumoured child, the rapper threw a pen at the journalist and asked him to stop disrespecting her. 

Cardi B, who shares kids, Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 11 months, with Offset, went on to accuse the press person of sexist reporting. So, the reporter asked who gave him the right to ask her such questions. As the rapper got in her SUV, she once again turned to the reporter and told him to respect women. She was quoted as saying:

"Stop disrespecting me. You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that. Do you see women asking me those types of questions? Why do you feel, as a man, you get to ask me those types of questions? Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you [to] respect women."

The Bodak Yellow artist's recent court appearance came following the ongoing lawsuit brought by a former security guard, who alleged that Cardi assaulted her outside of a Beverly Hills obstetrician's office in 2018. While Cardi admitted to a verbal exchange with the plaintiff, she denied spitting or scratching her. The court found the rapper not guilty, and she was freed from all charges.

Cardi B fueled the speculations when she appeared for the trial in oversized attire and seemed to be strategically covering her midsection with her hand. Soon after, she addressed the same issue during a live session. Cardi B took to her Instagram and went live to interact with her fans. However, when she was asked about the pregnancy rumours, she sternly denied them. Cardi responded to a fan who speculated she was pregnant because she seemed out of breath. Cardi was quoted as saying:

"'Look, 30 weeks pregnant?' No, you stupid b**ch. I'm just f**k out of breath ’cause I have asthma… Stop f**king being f**king funny in this b**ch before you get motherf**king blocked, b**ch. Stupid a** comment, don't put that shit on me, b**ch."
