While this gives early access to fans, the movie will also arrive on Apple TV+, which will be its permanent digital home, between late September and early October 2025. Years later, he’s pulled back into the high-octane world of racing by 'Ruben Cervantes' played byJavier Bardem, 'Ruben' is 'Sonny's' former teammate-turned-owner of the struggling APXGP team. 'Ruben' enlists 'Sonny' to mentor a fiery young rookie, 'Joshua Pearce' played by Damson Idris, he is a raw but a gifted driver whose potential can revive the team’s fading hopes. As 'Sonny' returns to the race, he confronts his past, the pressures of the modern F1 circuit, and the price of the legacy he had left behind.
