Taking to his IG handle, Boney Kapoor shared a photo of Sridevi, wherein the couple was seen striking a candid pose. In the caption, Boney mentioned that the photo was taken on Sridevi's birthday, when she thought he was teasing her, but he was actually trying to make her feel younger by wishing her 26th birthday, while it was her 27th birthday. However, no sooner did Boney post the photo than netizens started slamming him. The reason for the same was that people started calling Boney a 'cheater'.

Reacting to the photo, internet users slammed Boney Kapoor for bringing Mona Shourie's name. For the unversed, before Sridevi, Boney was married to Mona from 1983 to 1996, and the couple was blessed with two children, Arjun and Anushula.

There was a time when Sridevi was staying with Boney's first wife, Mona, at their home. Well, later Boney and Sridevi's love evolved eventually, and Boney said that he felt guilty about how things unfolded between him and Mona, but he was very honest with his first wife, and even confessed his feelings for Sridevi to his wife. Well, as he shared the post for Sridevi on her birth anniversary, netizens slammed Boney, calling him a 'cheater'.

She mentioned that the humiliation was simply painful as people pitted her against an actress. Mona also shared how she was advised to groom herself by losing weight and looking good, which made her feel that she needed to start from the beginning. Mona then recalled how her friend's mom gave her advice, which turned out to be gospel for her. The advice was that if someone has no place left for her in their lives, then she should do the same as well.
