'Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9' Premiere, When And Where To Watch Nagarjuna Hosted Show

Bigg Boss Telugu has been one of the most anticipated and watched reality shows, known for its controversies. The wait for the fans has now come to an end as Bigg Boss 9 Telugu premiered on September 9, 2025, on the OTT platform. The show is being hosted by none other than Superstar Nagarjuna, who is hosting the show once again. Season 9 of the show has been promised to be grander and bigger, and a new dual-home format is being introduced to the contestants. Commoners will also be seen competing with the stars for the Bigg Boss Telugu Trophy.

When and where to watch Bigg Boss Telugu 9

Bigg Boss Telugu 9 can be watched on JioHotstar via the OTT play Premium, and can also be seen on Star Maa. Bigg Boss on Telugu TV has been one of the most-watched shows, and the new season is reportedly set to run for around 100 to 120 days. According to a report by the Scteen, the finale of the show is set to take place in December 2025.

Nagarjuna selects 13 commoner contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu 9, Thanuja Puttaswamy is the first one

For the unversed, there was a special show called Bigg Boss Agnipariksha, which was like a preshow where commoners were selected. 13 of them made it to the list. Thanuja Puttaswamy, a famous Telugu and Kannada actress who did Telugu shows and is known for her strong role in the TV serial, Mudda Mandaram, was the first contestant.

Flora Saini is the second contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu 9

Flora has appeared in more than 50 movies across the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi film industries. Reportedly, in her opening, she spoke about facing domestic abuse and is known for her dance number called Lux Papa next to Balakrishna. Reportedly, Flora is one of the highest-paid participants in the show.

On the other side, Kalyan Padala became the first commoner to enter the house. He earned his place after taking part in Bigg Boss Agnipariksha. Kalyan is the third contestant on the show and is a soldier in the Indian Army, in addition to being a die-hard Pawan Kalyan fan. He impressed the audience with his physical and mental skills during the pre-show and gained fame.

Jabardasth Emmanuel, Shrasti Verma become the fifth and sixth contestants in the show

Jabardasth, known for his comedic chops, became the fourth contestant on the show. The fifth contestant was Shrasti Verma, a choreographer who has showcased her work in numerous movies, including Pushpa 2, Jailer, Vikrant Rona, Game Changer, and Rangasthalam. Surprisingly, even Bharani Shankar came on the show, and he became the eighth contestant to be a part of the Bigg Boss Telugu home. Bharani has also done shows such as Mahalakshmi, Trishulam, Thrill, Mutyala Muggu, Seetamalakshmi, Intiki Deepam Illalu, Bhagyarekha, Tarangalu, Amma Kosam, Savithri, and Prem Nagar. Bharani was also seen in Baahubali, Crazy Uncles, and Aaviri.

On the other side, Harita Harish became the second commoner to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 home. Nagarjuna then also welcomed popular social media influencer, Rithu Chowdary, who became the seventh contestant in the house.

Demon Pawan, Sanjjanaa Galrani and singer, Ramu Rathod enter

Demon Pawan was the third commoner contestant to enter the show via the audience's vote. Sanjjanaa was welcomed by Nagarjuna as the 10th contestant and is known for her roles in movies such as Ganda Hendathi, Bujjigadu, Dandupalya 2. Sanjjana revealed of being dragged in a drug racket case back in 2020. Singer, Ramu, was the 11th contestant, while Srija Dammu became the fourth commoner to enter the deception. Comedian, Suman Shetty was the 13th participant, while Priya Shetty was the fifth commoner in the show. Manish Maryada became the sixth commoner to enter the show.
