Following a tough fight with Thanuja Puttaswamy, Kalyan was declared the winner of the show by the host, Nagarjuna, who handed over the coveted trophy. For the unversed, the top 5 finalists of Bigg Boss Telugu 9 were Thanuja Puttaswamy, Jabardasth Emmanuel, Sanjana Galrani, Kalyan Padala, and Demon Pawan. Kalyan’s win was a bit unexpected for his fans, as he got seriously injured a few days back.

Kalyan Padala won the coveted trophy of the show, Bigg Boss Telugu 9, after weeks of challenging tasks, emotional moments and evictions. Along with the trophy, Kalyan took home a whopping amount of Rs. 35 lakhs as the prize money. According to a report by TOI, the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 winner, Kalyan Padala, also got a brand new SUV.

How much Kalyan Padala earned from Bigg Boss Telugu 9?

According to a report by Asianet, Kalyan Padala stayed inside the house for 15 weeks, and he earned Rs. 2 lakh per week, which means he earned Rs. 30 lakh in 15 weeks from the show, Bigg Boss Telugu 9. If the report is believed to be true, then Kalyan took home a total amount of Rs. 65 lakhs, including the Rs. 30 lakh prize money.

Kalyan Padala suffered a serious head injury ahead of the finale

While the tensions were much higher just before the finals, the fans were rooting for their favourite contestant, Kalyan Padala. However, things went wrong ahead of the final when Kalyan suffered a serious injury during a task inside the BB Telugu 9 house. This shocking incident sparked questions regarding his participation in the finals. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the BB Telugu 9 winner’s injury was serious enough and needed immediate medical attention. Thus, he was rushed to the house's medical room. But now that Kalyan has been declared the winner of the show, Bigg Boss Telugu 9, by the host, Nagarjuna, we can say that Kalyan is indeed a strong contender of this season.

Just before the grand finale, on December 20, 2025, Kalyan Padala’s social media team shared a heartfelt note on his behalf and thanked the audience for showering so much love to him. They highlighted how the fans stood beside him throughout the season. Along with the heartfelt note, the team also shared Kalyan’s snap. The note shared by Kalyan’s team can be read as:
