'Bigg Boss 19', When And Where To Watch The Premiere, Four Confirmed Contestants And More Revealed

Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 has stirred people's anticipation regarding the upcoming show. Recently, promos have been released featuring four celebrities, but their faces are blurred. With these teasers of the premiere, the curiosity to see which fan-favourite stars will enter the Bigg Boss house has increased further. Amid these glimpses, here are all the details on how to watch the premiere of the show, along with details on the confirmed contestants shown in the promos. 

When and where to watch Bigg Boss 19 premiere 

Bigg Boss 19's premiere episode, hosted by Salman Khan, is all set to hit your screens on August 24, 2025, and can be watched on both ColorsTV and JioHotstar. However, those watching it on the OTT platform can stream it from 9 p.m. onwards. Meanwhile, for ColorsTV viewers, the episode will be available from 10:30 p.m. The show will follow this format going forward. All the episodes will be made available on the OTT platform 90 minutes before they are telecast on TV. 

Four confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss 19, from Gaurva Khanna to Amaal Malik 

Recently, the makers of Bigg Boss 19 have unveiled three promos that feature four confirmed contestants. Even though the faces are blurred in the promos, there are hints in the glimpses that have confirmed the idenity of the contestants. One of the promos features a man in a sparkly suit, dancing energetically to the song 'Na Jaane Kaha Se Aay Hai'. This was the same song that was played when the late Bigg Boss 13 winner, Sidharth Shukla, made his entry. This time around, the promo introduces the participant as "Audience ka favourite beta". Earlier, reports had done the rounds that Anupamaa's 'Anuj', a.k.a. Gaurav Khanna, would enter the show. This glimpse has confirmed the speculations. 

Another promo shows a contestant, hinted as a well-known singer, performing the song, 'Kaun Tujhe'. This song was sung by Amaal Malik. Along with this, the fact that Amaal's father, Daboo Malik and their family friend, Roshaan Garry, have commented on the promo shared on Instagram confirms that the singer is going to enter the BB 19 house. The caption also says:

"Apne sur se dil jeetne wala aa raha hai ab apni sarkaar banane."

The third promo shows a couple dancing together, and the caption mentions, "Pyaar dosti hai, aur aisi hi ek jodi aa rahi Bigg Boss ke ghar mein!" Though the promo blurs the faces, most fans have recognised the two as the influencer couple, Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar. This glimpse has surprised the fans a lot since none of the previous reports featured their names as speculated contestants of Bigg Boss 19. Rumours were also going around that the makers had decided not to approach influencers. However, Awez and Nagma's entry dismisses these rumours as well.

Following the continuous interference of Bigg Boss's voice in the previous two seasons, which had peeved viewers and foiled contestants' game plans, the upcoming season of the show will reportedly give more control to the contestants. As shown in the teaser and the promos, this season's theme of Bigg Boss is going to be politics, with the tagline being, 'Gharwalon ki Sarkar'. The viewers might get to see a lot more diplomacy, sharp mind games and discussions as per reports.
