Bigg Boss 19 has recently bid goodbye to two of its strongest contestants, Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali. The Salman Khan-hosted reality show dropped a Weekend ka Vaar twist on the October 27 episode by evicting not one but two contestants. It was the second joint elimination, following that of Nagma Mirajkar and Natalia Janoszek. The eviction of Baseer Ali sparked debate on social media, with many questioning the rationale for the decision. Some felt that his romance angle with Nehal Chudasama made him unpopular. Recently, Nehal appeared for an interview via Zoom, during which she commented on her bond with Baseer.

What is Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali's relationship status following their Bigg Boss 19 elimination?

Days before Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali's elimination, the duo had been spending almost 24/7 together in the Bigg Boss 19 house. Nehal was seen giving Baseer a head massage, and they also occasionally lay on each other's laps. Fans were curious about their relationship and what they wanted to portray to the show's audience. Following her eviction, Nehal appeared for an interview via Zoom, where she was asked about her bond with Baseer, and she finally cleared the air about their dating rumors.

Nehal said that she and Baseer were friends and they shared a strong bond. She cherished how compatible she was with Baseer, despite being two 'strong-headed individuals'. She tagged their relationship as a 'power friendship'. She revealed being stunned at times at how aligned their thought processes and viewpoints were. Despite having their own individuality, their 'personality just matches', according to Nehal. She said:

"So, I cherish our compatibility. There's actually a lot to cherish. You don't often come across two friends and strong-headed individuals, just compatible with each other. It's difficult. That's what you call a power friendship. So, this is one thing that I cherish, that we're two strong-headed individuals and our thought process, our frequency, our everything and our personality just matches."

Nehal consciously avoided getting caught up in the dating rumours surrounding her and Baseer Ali. She kept her comments to her bond with Baseer and their compatibility. However, Baseer addressed the dating angle during his recent interview with the Indian Express. According to him, the audience saw only the content the showmakers wanted them to see. Addressing the dating buzz with Nehal, and accusing the showmakers of presenting a biased perspective of him, he said:

"When makers have control of the content, they will show what they like and that is what the audience will believe."

Nehal Chudasama opened up about her ugly fights with Baseer Ali in the house

Despite sharing a good bond, Nehal and Baser had their fair share of heated moments in the house. They threw hurtful comments at each other and even swore not to speak with each other anymore. However, their 'compatibility' brought them back together. She stated:

"We had our differences. But everything would just be the same. Even when we were not talking, and I would overhear him say something, or he would overhear me... I (would be) like, 'I'm the one who's going to say this. I'm the one who's thinking this. How would he know?' So, I cherish that compatibility."

Nehal also mentioned what she likes most about Baseer. She admires Baseer Ali's clarity of thought and expression. In a post-eviction Zoom interview, she stated that she admires how clearly he conveys himself. She also noted that she shares this quality to a certain extent, but believes he possesses even greater clarity. Nehal said:

"And one good thing about Baseer is that I think I also have in me, is the clarity. I think he has a little more, like the clarity of his thoughts. The way he conveys things and expresses things with so much clarity is something that I really admire."
