Bharti Singh Takes Maternity Leave, Gets Replaced On Laughter Chefs Season 3 By A Former Contestant

Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, are currently enjoying the best phase of their lives as they embraced parenthood for the second time. Now, the couple is parents to two sons. Their eldest son, Laksh Singh Limbachiyaa, widely known as Gola, is now a big brother. Coming to her professional front, Bharti has been entertaining the audience with her comic stance on TV shows. Just before giving birth to his second child, the female comedian was working as a co-host of the comedy-cooking show, Laughter Chefs Season 3.

Arjun Bijlani to replace Bharti Singh on Laughter Chefs Season 3

Currently, Bharti Singh is reportedly on maternity leave as she welcomed her second child on December 19, 2025. Just before the baby’s arrival, Bharti was shooting for the comedy-cooking show, Laughter Chefs Season 3. She has actively entertained the audience with her hilarious actions and reactions on the show. 

According to a Filmibeat report, Arjun Bijlani will replace Bharti on the show. For the unversed, Arjun was a contestant of Laughter Chefs Season 1. As per the report, Bharti will be on a short maternity leave, so Arjun will temporarily fill her place on the show. While there has been no official confirmation, a source close to the show said:

"Arjun Bijlani will temporarily host Laughter Chefs 3 while Bharti Singh takes her leave. This is a short-term arrangement, and Bharti remains an integral part of the show, with her return already scheduled."

Bharti Singh reportedly was not expecting her second child so soon

Bharti Singh welcomed her second baby on December 19, 2025. According to a report by India Today, it wasn't Bharti's due date, and the female comedian wasn't expecting the baby yet. She was busy shooting for the comedy-cooking show, and also reached the shooting floor that day. After reaching there, Bharti suddenly experienced contractions, and her water broke. Following this, she was rushed to the hospital, where she delivered a baby boy.

When Bharti Singh expressed her wish to have a baby girl

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Bharti expressed her wish to have a little princess in her house. Bharti was already a mom to a 3-year-old son, Laksh a.k.a Gola, whom she welcomed on April 3, 2022. While the female comedian went on a trip to Europe with her family, a lot of people told her to check the gender of the baby. However, she and her family didn’t want that. She explained why she wanted a baby girl after having a son. Bharti was quoted as saying:

"Humein bohot logo ne bola tha ki aap bahar ghumne gaye the aap check karwa lo but na mujhe ye chahiye tha na Ghar waalo ko. Main to ye hi dua karti hun ki beti ho jaye. Behen bhai hone chahiye, ek ladki to honi chahiye, pura Ghar discipline mein rehta hai. Gola bohot excited hai."

Bharti and Haarsh met first time on the sets of Comedy Circus. While Haarsh worked as a writer on the show, Bharti was a contestant. The duo quickly became nice friends. After spending years as good friends, Bharti and Haarsh started dating. On December 3, 2017, the duo tied the knot in Goa. After four years of marital bliss, the couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their first child, a son, Laksh Singh Limbachiyaa, whom they lovingly call Gola. On October 6, 2025, Bharti announced that she was expecting her second child. Sharing an adorable snap from their Europe tour, Bharti wrote on her Instagram handle:

"We are pregnant again."
