Bhagyashree's Husband, Himalaya STOPS Her Photoshoot To PROPOSE Her At The Age Of 56

Bhagyashree and Himalaya Dasani's love story and the efforts to stay in love even after 36 years of marriage is an inspiration for all Indian couples who let love fade away. Just like every Indian wife, Bhagyashree always complained that Himalaya never proposed to her, despite them having a love marriage. After 36 years of togetherness, Himalaya surprised her with an unplanned proposal in the midst of her photoshoot.

Bhagyashree shared how her husband, Himalaya proposed to her

On June 6, 2025, Bhagyashree took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures as her husband, Himalaya interrupted her photoshoot for a special reason, which left the 56-year-old actress blushing. Bhagyashree, who was dressed in a gorgeous hand-painted organza saree in yellow hues, was getting her shoot done. Subtle makeup and hair tied in a gajra added stars to her look.

However, the highlight of the shoot was when Himalaya interrupted it. He was dressed up in a white-hued t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. He looked adorable as he shied while giving a kiss on Bhagyashree's cheeks, and she was left blushing. Sharing the post, Bhagyashree revealed that she would often complain to Himalaya that he never proposed to her. She wrote:

"Hubby's Proposal ! Secret let out. No matter what everyone felt about Himalayji being a romantic husband.. he wasn't so early, and I kept telling him that he never really had proposed to me. So here I was, midst of a photoshoot & to my surprise he just interrupted us with this song. (Diljit would have cried to hear this version tho) But yay ! Hubby decided to finally to go on his knees. Sharing some candid pics that my photographer @prashantsamtani clicked."

Bhagyashree revealed people made her husband, a villain for getting married to her

Bhagyashree opened up about how people had turned her husband, Himalaya, a villain.  For Bhagyashree, her success was in seeing her 'happily ever after' with the love of her life, Himalaya Dassani. After so many years of marital bliss, Bhagyashree still never fails to shower her love on her hubby, Himalay, and vice versa. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes TV, Bhagyashree talked about her husband, Himalayabeing treated as a villain after they had tied the knot. Bhagyashree shared that they had thought that it was because of him that she had stopped working. The actress said:

"When Maine Pyar Kiya happened and Himalaya and I tied the knot, people didn’t know anything about him. In fact, people had painted him as a villain because I got married to him and stopped working. But when people saw our show, they saw us together and heard things about our relationship, they loved us. The audience understood our journey and they got to know more about Himalayaji. They got to know how he is as a person and they realised that whatever decision I took for love 33 years ago was right."
